Neik De Jong: Youngster Comes From The Blue To The Elite

Part 1

Neik had always been a huge football fan. He adored Ajax with a passion he is addicted to it. Posters of Ajax and Dutch footballing adorns his bedrooms walls. Players include Robin Van Persie, Edgar Davids, Edwin van der Sar, van Nistelrooy, Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten, Johan Cruyff and Dennis Bergkamp. He was obsessed with football and mainly Dutch football legends. Today he clutched a new poster and his recent idol. Christian Eriksen. Ajax wonderkid and most recent figure head of the the Ajax youth squad.

Neik was not looking forward to going home toda The school were bound to call home again, Neik yet again has skipped school to instead play football with some of the respected older kids who live on his estate. He looks up to them they have 'contacts' in the professional game. He needs them to make his big brake and school won't get in the way of him.

Neik will make it and no one will stop!!

Looking forward to it mate, Neik will be one of the greats!

Part 2: The Practice Match

Neik ran out of his house he was running late... Very late. It was 08:00 and his practice match with the older kids started in 30 minutes. He knew they may not even be really have contacts with in the game. But he knew that this would be his only real chance to become a pro footballer he was reliant on these older kids and he could not be late!

He arrived at the playing field just 5 minutes be the chosen kick-off time. He was instantly thrown into the worse team as a punishment but this suited Neik fine it gave him a chance to shine... A chance show the world what he has.

The game was a success to say the least. Neik scored 7 goals in the 70 minute match and he made a fool out of Ryan van Dooveild, Rotterdam so called best wonderkid. Many scouts have said he will become the greatest defender in Dutch history if he keeps his progression on track but Neik mayed him look like a fool. He left him on the floor more times than he could count, he was on fire. But out of the corner of his eye Neik saw a man. A man he did not recognise he was tall and looked at the game with a scrutinsing way. Neik instantly knew it was a scout. He knew this may just be his chance.

Nice. Who could he be scouting for?!

Good stuff! Will be interesting to see where he starts playing and hopefully he stays in Holland for a good few years before going to Germany or Spain rather than England!
