FM 2013 HandHeld for iPad

Hi all,
this is the first time for me in this forum, i'm writing from Milan and i would like to know if someone can answer me to this question:
In these days Apple has released several updates for the version "HandHeld" of the game, I would like to know if these updates are already up and running with running games (already started to let you understand)

You would have to start a new save for the updates to work.

You would have to start a new game for database updates to work, but not for things like bug fixes. So a transfer update needs a new save.

This means also for "buy" i did from AppStore ? i.e. the unlockables or the challenges bought directly from the game ?

Does FM Scout contents make sense for FM 2013 HandHeld for iPad ?
i.e. all the players has the same attributes, value, features or not ?
