Good start,Landvik will come good!

After a few months of tireless searching, I have finally found an opportunity. Recently, due to their poor league performance, Sandefjord-a team in the second Norwegian divison, are without a manager, there last one axed by the board.
I did think that second division was maybe too high for my hopes, but, I contacted them and had a video conference, and they seemed to like what they saw. They actually wanted to meet me face to face so that I could show them my plans and tactics, which is great. I actually have a good shot at this.
I am currently based in Oslo, so Sandefjord isn't far to travel at all. In fact, I can keep my house here and still work in Sandefjord, that is, if I get the job. I am hopeful.
Well, I am booked to see them in two days, so I better prepare some sort of presentation to impress them. I am going to need to throw every ounce of tactical knowledge I have at them to have any chance of getting a look-in. Secretly, though, I think I might just get the job.
Good luck with your application Toon

I went to the meeting yesterday and showed them what I had to offer. I put together a powerpoint the other day to show them, and it showed my tactics and vision for the club. They seemed to really like it. In fact, they offered me a job. I am currently sitting in a hotel in Sandefjord, waiting for my managerial appointment to become official. I signed the contract last night.
In all honest, I don't plan to stay here and make this club great. I might stay for a season or two, fight for promotion, but, I doubt I will stay for any longer. It seems a little selfish, but I want to use this club as a stepping stone for my career. Hopefully I can do well for them before I leave.
well done getting the job
good luck with this team kitten ;p

GOOD LUCK AT SANDJEFORD!

I have completed my first month as a manager, and I think it has been excellent. I was thrust right in to the league, having a game only a few days after I was made coach. I have managed to pull my team away from the threat of relegation, and I think I can make a push for the playoffs.
The Bryne result was disappointing, but they are above us so it was seen as quite a fair result. I hope we can continue this run, as we have a good team that is capable of enough. I doubt we can get promoted, and even if we did, we'd come straight back down, but it makes sense that I should try and finish as high as possible.
Good results so far mate good luck!

Another great month. My second as manager, and still unbeaten, despite the team still sitting in mid-table. We are 100% safe from relegation now with only one game to go, but we can't get to the playoffs, which is a bit disappointing, but I didn't really want to get promoted anyway.
A good start in Norway Toon, never mind about the play offs this season, you will win the league next season!
Good work mate very nice start with a team that looks very average in their season finishes
