Smallest rep team you've won the champions league with?

Hey guys just wandered who's the smallest/worst team you've won the champions league with? I'm managing anderlecht and managed to knockout chelsea in the qualifying rounds, top my group table which contained Man city and bayern munich but lost in the first round knockouts to psg 2-3 on agg last year. I'm going to push for at least semi's this year but could do with some stories to inspire me.

I won the champions league with the minnow CAEN of france, Granted it took me 8 seasons to get a respectable team going but i got there.

Bear in mind this was with FM 2012 and i had some steller wonderkids and mixed well with aged players.
My staff was national but most important i had a world class fitness coach and defense.

Pretty impressive mate, I'm finding it hard to sign any decent talent so I've had to rely on regens too. The average age of my squad was 24 last year and probably lower this year, Loading up the african leagues really helped bulster my squad.

I haven't won the Champions League on FM13 and only have done it with Man United and Liverpool on FM11 and Udinese in FM12, but I also took Scotland to the World Cup final on FM11, and that was in 2014, so there wasn't any good regens

Scotland to the world cup final is pretty sick! Not holding out much hope for anderlecht this year I've been drawn with Barcelona and Juventus in the group stages saying that though I topped my group which had bayern and man city in it last year so who knows.

I'm building up to it with FC Halifax (Blue Square Bet North in 2012/13). In the 2016/17 season, won europa last season when i was in division 1 and looking good for it again this season. Just gotta get into the prem and finish in the top four so all being well 2 seasons from now i can claim to have won it with a tier 6 side in the shortest time possible... it'll all be in my story

Wow that's sick I bet its so much more rewarding winning big with smaller teams, you'll have to link me to your story. I was thinking of trying for the europa instead because I had a really hard CC group; Barcelona, Juventus and Dinamo Buc but with one game to go I was playing Juventus at home for 2nd place spot and ended up winning 5-0! Drawn Bayern munich in the first leg knockout round I'm pretty much out as they've demolished me every time I've played them.

Arsenal

Arsenal aren't exactly a small team their one of the best teams in europe and if you use the right tactics you could probably win cc in your first season.

Let's be honest, Arsenal winning a trophy is miracle Just kidding of course, but Arsenal is still the smallest rep team joel has won the cc with I reached the finals with Sevilla, but lost two times in a row.

Ha ha good point, arsenal need to invest big this year!

Bradford City and Anger SCO.

Won the CL with German team Freiburg in my 3rd season in charge after buying players like Fierro, Kozak, Tagliafico and playing Matthias Ginter regularly in defence

AC Ajaccio won the Champions League for me, after bringing it back up from the French National League. GOŠK Dubrovnik came close (3rd Croatian League) losing out to Barcelona in the final, but I did win with Hajduk Split after 5 seasons in FM11

More impressively though is my San Marino win of the WC in 2008. Double-managed Milan and San Marino and signed nearly every single member of the U19 team to Milan. They all reached their potential, and a few spectacular penalty shoot-outs later, I beat Italy in the final.

This was the 2022 WC, in FM2008...

Not sure if it counts, but I won it with Southend United. The reason I'm not sure it counts is that this was 10-15 years into the game after having won the league a few times and built a world class team. Winning it with someone like APOEL would be more of an achievement imo.
