Just wondering if anybody has ever managed in Brazil? I was thinking about giving it a go but I know the league system seems a bit strange. If anybody can shed any light on Brazil it would be greatly appreciated, as I don't want to just go in blind if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance...
I managed a brazilian team in Fm12, and basicly there are two leagues almost, you have the whatever divison you are in from tier 1 to tier 3 or something. Then you have thestate championships, (with the state championships for 80% of the games unless your in the lower bracket of teams in tier 3 you can demolish 80% of teams below you in the state). I personally found it difficult to retain momentum from division to division.

Ah I see. I have started with Internacional. Thought I'd be a decent team first to get the hang of it. I do appear to be destroying teams in the Gaucho State. I know what you mean by struggling to gain momentum between divisions. I had the same problem in Argentina. Thanks for your thoughts!
I managed Santos once on FM Handheld, not sure if this helps :P I demolished teams throughout the state championship, with the only real challenge I faced being Sao Paolo, for obvious reasons.
think the only real reason they have the state championships it to give the non league teams a chance to qualify for the cup (equal to the fa cup )depending on how they finish that why you often demolish them its like playing blue square premiership/north/south teams

maybe if your starting of in brazil i recommend trying that brazil hero challenge steam have taking a team from the lowest to the highest div normally you can loan in an unlimited amount of quality youth and you will find you have some quality players down there already
I managed Fortaleza on FM12 and I actually really enjoyed the challenge. It was really tough getting them promoted but well worth the effort.

I have yet to give it a go on FM13 I am too occupied with my Spurs and Wales, Bilbao, Ajax and Rangers saves.
I managed in Brazil a few time. The first part of the season is the state championship. Play your youths there and only so may first team players to get the points. When the national championships starts loan out the youth not cut for the big series.

The main challenge is scouting and trading players. There are just a little money in brazil and all players you have are looking towards Europe. So the state championship is key to develop these youngster.
