André Villas-Boas departs..already?

http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Sport/Pix/columnists/2013/5/3/1367597324917/Andre-Villas-Boas-008.jpg

André Villas-Boas has announced his resignation from the position of Tottenham Hotspur manager, despite being in the job for less than two weeks. It is thought that the Portuguese coach left the North Londoners following a dispute with Chairman Daniel Levy, regarding the transfer budgets for the coming season. The ex-Chelsea man is said to have wanted more money to be able to tinker the squad to his liking, and bring in a number of players. But Levy did not allow this, and an argument ensured Villas-Boas' reign at White Hart Line was a short-lived affair. Management in England hasn't exactly been rosy for Villas-Boas, the 34 year-old being relieved of his duties from Chelsea in March for poor form in a poor season which Roberto Di Matteo, his assistant and successor, resurrected, winning the Champions League and FA Cup.

Where next for André? But more importantly, who next for Spurs? One thing's for sure, the vacancy will be highly sought after..
Nice start!
Thanks a lot mate, much appreciated. :) Expect a update on the new manager tomorrow.

Tottenham set to announce manager

http://cache.images.globalsportsmedia.com/news/soccer/2013/4/25/318364header.jpg

Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy has said that he has decided on the club's new manager, and will reveal the man to the public in the coming days. The Essex-born man said "Yes, my fellow board members and I have all decided who will be the next manager of this football club. It may be a surprise appointment and a big risk, but we feel he is the man that will take this great club forward. He is passionate about this club and his interview left us very impressed." Levy refused to speak further to the press, saying he'd said everything that needed to be said. Not many clues, but the press have already come up with a number of possibilities.

Odds:-
Jurgen Klinsmann - 2/1
Roberto Martinez - 2/1
Les Ferdinand - 7/2
David Ginola - 12/1
Steffen Freund - 16/1
Ledley King - 20/1
Jose Mourinho 100/1
Probably won't be an update til Tuesday/Wednesday as I have 2 exams (1 Monday, 1 Tuesday), and won't be frequent until 18 June when the other three are over and done with.
Les Ferdinand would be interesting!
