Steve Bruce Resigns

Steve Bruce has resigned as manager of Hull City FC after a dispute with a player. It is rumoured that he had a bust up with son Alex Bruce after he would not collect the cones in from training. This then led to a heated argument and a resignation letter on the chairman’s desk. Hull City are now looking for a new manager to lead the team for the 2012-13 season. SkyBet has made Mark Hughes favourite to land the job but here are our latest odds:
Mark Hughes 3/1 (FAV)
Martin O’Neil 6/1
Jimmy Bullard 10/1
Roberto Martinez 20/1
Nigel Clough 25/1

We are expecting an announcement within the next few days so stay tuned to SkySports new for latest developments.
Looking forward to following this story! :D Good luck, mate!

Jimmy Bullard Takes Hull Hot Seat

Former Player, Comedian, Fisherman and Male Model Jimmy Bullard has taken the hot seat at Hull City FC. Bullard who used to play for the club retired last season due to injury but he wanted to return so he took the offer from Hull to become their new manager. Jimmy did not speak to the press but he has announced he will have a press conference with the club late on this week. He then came running out to the SkySports reporter to yell, “TUBES IM COMIN FOR YA”. He then laughed and ran back inside.
Go on Bullard!!! JIMMY, JIMMY, JIMMY!!

HAHA Cheers

Jimmy Bullard First Press Conference

I strolled in the room with the Chairman of Hull City and the owner. I knew I had to be serious so I put my serious face on. I sat down looked at the press and started laughing my head off.
“Alight lads” I shouted.
A round of applause followed for me the great man himself Jimmy Bullard.
“Welcome back Jimmy is it good to be getting back into football?”.
“Well I was enjoying going fishing every day and playing golf but I bumped into and old friend of mine Mr Chairman and he invited me for a chat and the rest is history”.
“You have played here at Hull before so is it good to have a connection with the club?”
“Yes of course I really enjoyed my time here before in the Premier League and I want to restore that status for the club”.
“Do you want to strengthen the squad?”
“Well the team is good but we need more strength in depth for us to move forward as a club. I don’t feel we can handle promotion straight away but we’ll see what happens”.
“Did you want to ever become a manager?”.
“No, I wanted to fish and play Golf when I retired but I promise to do a good job here and always try my best. That is it now folks I’m off to play Golf I mean meet the team”.
I left the room but as I got up I had a special surprise for the press….
I had pulled my trousers down slightly so the press could see my new bright pink underwear. The all laughed their heads off.

McManaman Joins Hull on Loan

Young attacker Callum McManaman has joined Hull City on a season long loan from Wigan. The young star wanted to be loaned out to a lower league club to gain valuable experience when he re-joins Wigan. He also added that Hull was a great destination as it was not too far away and he would get lots of chances in the first team. Then he later added that working under Jimmy Bullard will teach him A LOT about football. The loan will last the whole of the season and this is Jimmy Bullard’s first signing as Hull manager. Jimmy later said that more players will be coming into the club to help him build a team that is ready for the championship.

Bullard Meets Fans At KC Stadium

I headed to the KC stadium to meet fans that were waiting for a training day ahead of pre-season. I was excited to see the fans again that I left a few years ago but now I am back I am very happy. I spent some of my best years at this club and it’s great to be back. I wanted to go around and sign a few autographs for the fans and make a speech. I intended for the players to sign some stuff and then some lucky fans will come on the pitch to have a 5 a side game with some of the players.

We arrived onto the pitch with a big cheer from the fans and then the chairman introduced me on the tanoy and there was a big round of applause for me. I entered the pitch and I clapped the fans who were so good to me during my time at the club.
It was good to be back. There was a small podium for me to make my speech so I got up and took the microphone,
“Well guys it’s great to back. I really enjoyed my spell here so I want to give you a successful team. We have not won much but I intend to change that so I want to have a good run in the cup and then who knows what might happen. I want to take the club back to the premier league and then I want to build a club that will be great. Thank you”.

A round of applause followed so I headed inside to get changed and later I would take training.
Good luck Mr Bullard!

Thanks Mr Beckham.

Spanish Duo Join Hull

Hull City have completed the signings of Spanish duo Igor Gabilindo and Alberto Bueno. Igor joins on a free and has vast experience playing in LaLiga with Athletic Bilbao. Igor normally is a left winger but he can also play in the centre of midfield. Alberto Bueno joins from Valladoid for a fee of £875K. Bueno played for Real Madrid as a striker and came through their youth academy. The striker has experience in England after loan spells at Derby County where he made a big impact scoring 6 goals. Hull manager Jimmy Bullard showed them off to the press earlier and made a statement on the new signings,
“Well it’s great to have two quality signings on board at the club. I felt we lacked creativity so bringing in a few Spaniards was a great idea in my head. They both have vast experience and can make a big impact on the team this coming season. Igor joins us for 1 year but Alberto has signed a 3 year deal at the club. I will not be making any further signings in this window.”

Bullard’s Notes: A decent pre-season and I got to know the lads better and we have a good team spirit and we are ready for the league season ahead.
I'll be following this. Jimmy Bullard played for The Posh! Great start by the way.
