Early Injury Problems
Fulham have Confirmed that Ryan Shawcross will be out of action for three to four months with a Torn Calf Muscle and Bryan Ruiz will miss the next six to seven weeks after sustaining a strained knee ligament after twisting it painfully. Both picked up the Injures in a tough match against Newcastle in the Premier League which ended 2-1 in favour of Fulham. Ruiz will more be back to full fitness for the match against Stoke City on the 22nd of October but could return to the squad against Manchester City if really needed on the 15th of October. Shawcross will at least be out until the beginning of December. In Holland's Post match Press Conference he said
"I shouldn't have risked Ruiz after his recent Injury he only survived eight minutes on the pitch I should have given him more time to recover from his Injury. Shawcross was a very unlucky Injury with it happening in stoppage time which is the worst time to get Injured with it being so close to the end of the match."
He was then asked who there replacements would be
"For Ruiz it will be Dejagah he is a very fast player that will cause oppsition backs trouble through out the game but Duff could take the place easily after showing me he has the determination to do it and he's crossing is still as good as it's always been. For Shawcross it will most likely be Amorebieta who joined from Athletic Bilbao a little while ago he was originally in the squad before the arrival of Shawcross and will know take his place
