"So David, are you interested in our proposition?"
The board of Directors loomed over Dave as he made his decision.
"Yeah, I'm in, give me the contract and I will sign it"
"Fantastic, before you sign it though I want to personally make a few things clear. Firstly you must sign bat least 2 big name players and I will send you a potential list tomorrow. Secondly team unity is a must, after seeing how animosity sent Mourinho's Real Madrid team into disarray, we want to make sure that wont happen here. Finally, I want you to blood some youngsters into the first team, be it youngsters you buy or youngsters from the academy. Oh and by the way, if I were you I would make it my priority to sign Mr Ronaldo as this would instantly make you a fans favourite".
David absorbed all this information, signed the contract, shook hands with the executives and left.

As he was walking out to his car he was met by the familiar face of Wayne Rooney.
"Hey Dave, so I'm going to assume the rumours are true and you are taking the job?"
"How's it going Wayne and yes the rumours are true, I HAVE decided to take the job of Manchester United manager."
"Fantastic Dave, look forward to seeing you at training."
"Yeah Wayne, tell the players to be there by 8, sharp."
David Moyes began to walk away, he had landed the job of his dreams, the Manchester United job was his. He would take his wife, Pamela out for a meal as it was there anniversary coming up, (yes he had remembered!) and would then tell her that he had landed the lucrative new job.
But first he would go home and begin planning. He was going to revolutionize Manchester United whilst keeping in place the building blocks laid by club legend Sir Alex Ferguson.

Moyes was ready to take the Premier League by storm

Manchester United bring in no Fewer than 9 Players

As the transfer window draws to a close Manchester United have made no fewer than 9 signings including Gareth Bale and David Alaba. It is clear Moyes is planning for the future with all the players he has brought in under the age of 24, with Gareth Bale being the only one above 21. The other signings were Cristian Tello, Antoine Griezman, Gerard Deulofeu, Alvaro Vadillo, Kyriakos Papadopolous, Lucas Ocampos and Salih Ucan.

The Big Deals

Gareth Bale - The dynamic winger was brought in for a transfer record fee of £95 million. He signed a contract worth in excess of £160,000

David Alaba - The ligntning quick left back was signed for £18.5 million to fill the hole left by Patrice Evra as he was offloaded to Dortmund for 14 million.

Kyriakos Papadopolous - Brought in ,to fill the void of the gone Chris Smalling and the aging Rio Ferdinand, the giant Greek was considered a coup for 17 million. With incredible bravery, determination and team work stats, the fans could start to love him.

As you can see in the picture below, many of my players also left the club. Players were sold for a total of 143 million with Anderson the best deal of the lot being sold for a huge 16 million.

You've made a lot of overpriced signings! But you managed to sell Anderson for 17M so I forgive you.

I know, they just wouldn't settle for less! Alaba is a steal though!
Another United story, and with David Moyes involved. You have a lot to live up too making a very similar story. Although I agree, you spent way too much on a lot of players. Alaba as a steal? I'm not sure, seen him signed for less in the first season. Selling both Smalling and Evans could be costly, especially with Smalling's fee. Young was a bit cheap. Nevertheless, I hope you can prove me wrong, and I wish you good luck with this, as a fellow United manager.
Wow Gareth Bale signed at £95 m? Very overpriced. David Alaba is a quality player. I'm doing a United story too. Good luck.
Closing this story down because I think I can do a beeter one with villa....
