Wow, a shock loss to Wolves there but otherwise some great results... best of luck against Roma, a very strong side, but a reward of a classic match against Barca or Bayern should be a great incentive.

City v United in the other draws as well... nice!

For the first time ever today, Jimmy Bullard's Fulham are featuring in a Champions League quarter final game, the pressure is on. Fulham are defiantly the underdogs here today against Roma, who are experienced in further stages of this competition.

Both sides had there strongest squad starting, and everyone knew this was going to be a classic.

The first half wasn't very eventful, but closing in on half time Roma defendr Burdisso was awarded a straight red.

At the teams went into half time, neither with a goal to there name.

However, it took only 4 minutes for Fulham to take the lead, Berbatov capitalising on some poor marking from a corner.

In the 79th minute, Berbatov scored almost an identical goal, putting the game to rest.

And that was how it finished, with a good away win for Fulham!

Wow, what a win! Reminds me of Fulham playing Juventus and all those other big teams a few years back :P

Champions League quarter final second leg live!

Fulham started the match terribly, conceding in the first minute to Destro. It was a top goal from the striker as he skinned two Fulham players before scoring a well placed shot.

However, only 4 minutes later, Fulham favourite Bryan Ruiz equalized. Ruiz scored a finish executed with aplomb to round off a great team move.

In the 21st minute Fulham's youngster Wilfred Zaha put the cottagers into the league. Zaha scored a powerful effort from just inside the box.

On the 35th minute, Fulham made it 3. This time it was experienced striker Berbatov
getting on the scoresheet with a header.

And the sides went into the tunnel at half time, Fulham leading 3-1.

The 66th minute arrived, and Roma were now dead and burred, with Fulham adding a forth, again being scored by Berbatov.

And that’s how it finished, with Fulham next facing FC Bayern in the semi finals.

Fulham win in Champions League final!

Today has been a day where everyone expected only one winner, one club being clearly better than the other. There was no pressure on Fulham, they weren't expected to get a result. For city however, the whole world expected them to win. How humiliating would it be if they lost to Fulham? They couldn't let that happen...

In the 14th minute, Fierro mugged off 3 city players, and this angered Yaya Toure. He viciously slid Fierro from the side, and was shown a straight red.

With half time on the near, City lost concentration, and John Arne Riise capitalised, scoring a tap in on the near post.

Micah Richards was then awarded a straight red when he was the last man, and slid Fierro from behind..

And that was how it finished! Fulham were champions of Europe!
