Certainly interesting with the authority you are imposing versus Cole. Good win against City
Post Community Shield Press Conference

R-Reporter
RL-Me

R-How does it feel to win the community shield, your first taste of success as a manager?

RL-I am delighted that we have managed to get our hands on the community shield and am delighted that the fans stuck by us even when things didn't look like they were going to end well for us, I do have some concerns about the level of performance displayed by certain Individuals.

R-Does Ashley Cole still have a future at Chelsea football club after all you decided to play him today?

RL-I hold no grudges against any of my players, personally I felt he played well making crucial tackles during the game and that he was a vital player in this match. I believe it is important to play your best players if you want to be successful. As I have previously stated I won't be discussing his future any further.

R-Imagine you was delighted by Mikels impact after coming off the bench?

RL-It was fantastic to see Mikel step off the bench and score a goal of that quality right when we needed it most, I wasn't 100% convinced that we would manage to win at penalties against Manchester City so I am delighted that we managed to avoid that. I believe this goal is up there with some of most important goals that we have scored over numerous season and it was of great quality. A truly special goal.

R-Is there any news on Oscars injury?

RL-Unfortunately it isn't looking good for Oscar I had a quick word with the physio before this press conference and he has told me that It will be quite some time before we will see him in a blue shirt again.

Double Signing & Backroom appointment.

Bruno Indi

Marko Van Ginkel

Chelsea Football Club are happy to announce the Arrival of both Bruno Indi and Marko Van Ginkel as Lawrence sets about rebuilding his ageing squad. If reports are too be believed the acquisition of these two players has cost the club around 22 million. Van Ginkel & Indi are expect to join fellow new signing Alderwiereld at the club with in the next few days. There has been no official word on an press conference to unveil any of these youngsters. many reporters believe that Lawrence would like to keep the youngsters out of the spot light whilst they get settled in at the club.

They are also happy to announce the arrival of new assistant manager Mauro Tassoti. Lawrence has been known to have been searching for a new number 2 since the dismissal of Zenden at the start of his reign and is expected to be delighted at the appointment of Tassoti although romoured to have not been his first choice at assistant manager, It appeared that Steven Menso was unable to agree personal terms with the club.

Alderwiereld Injury!

The new is believed to have picked up an injury during his first day of training and has now been ruled out for upto 3 months with a knee injury, It's unlikely that we will see Lawrence delve back into the transfer market due to the wealth of centre backs such as David Luiz and Gary Cahill available at the club not to mention fellow youngster Alex Davey.
Champions League draw

I am pleased with this draw as I believe we should come out group winners with little difficulty and I may even risk a few youth players in the games once I feel we are in a comfortable position.Although the board are targeting another run to the final I am far from convinced that I will personally be able to take my squad quite so far and believe that getting into the semi's would be a realistic goal.

Monthly Review
This month has been pretty poor with the team only picking up 4 points out of 9 although I have played some youths in these games it has largely been to the under performance of one or two players and some sloppy defending when it really matters. It has also been a month of injuries with a few of my better players being ruled out.

Fulham 0- 1 Chelsea

Team sheet - Cech,Azpiliqueta,Terry,Luiz,Cole,Lampard,Romeu,Van Ginkel,Hazard,Mata,Torres
Subs Ivanovic,Mikel,Turnbul,Lalkovic,Davey,Cahill,Bertrand

Hazard
Ivanovic
Azipiliqueta
Mikel
Romeu

Man of the match - Ashley Cole.

It was good to get our first win especially against another London based club and we are hoping to use this as good motivation in the coming season, Ashley Cole really seemed to perform in this game grabbing a rating of 8.7 he was involved in everything defensively clearing any balls that went a stray and putting in some great challenges.

Reading 2-0 Chelsea
Teamsheet - Cech,Azpiliqueta,Cahill,Luiz,Cole,Lampard,Ramires,Van Ginkel,Hazard,Mata,Torres
Subs Ivanovic,Mikel,Turnbul,Lalkovic,Davey,Terry,Bertrand

Adam Le Fondre
Mata
Lalkovic
Cahill
Terry

Man of the Match Adam Le Fondre

This was a very disappointing game as we had a large number of shots on target but nothing seemed to go in another disappointing game for Torres with 0 goals so far. By far however the biggest disapointment was the lack of any effort from Cahill.

Atheletic Madrid 0p - 0 Chelsea 0

Van Ginkel
Hazard
Cahill

Although I would have liked to have won the supercup in my first season I can't be too annoyed we just stuggled infront of goal but defended well if I am honest although hopefully we will be more clinical in the future slightly worried about Torres as it is another game that he has failed to score in.

Southampton 3- 3 Chelsea
Teamsheet - Cech,Kane,Luiz,Cahill,Bertrand,Ramires,Romeu,Van Ginkel,Lampard,Hazard,
Subs-Turnbull,Mikel,Davey,Lalkovic,Ivanovic,Ba,Indi.

Cahill
Ivanovic

Mikel
Van Ginkel
Lalkovic

Man of the match -Ricky Lambert

Although my team played well in the first half they really seemed to lose interest in the second half allowing Southampton to get back into the game, however I am fairly pleased Torres found the back of the net and hope that this may be the first of many goals to come.Another disappointing display from Cahill who seems to be struggling to perform.

Anderlecht 1 - 3
Teamsheet - Turnbull,Ivanovic,Luiz,Cahill,Bertrand,Ramires,Romeu,Van Ginkel,Mata,Hazard,Ba
Subs - Cech,Kane,Davey,Lalkovic,Torres,Mikel,Lampard.

Hazard

Ivanovic
Kane
Romeu
Lampard

Torres

Man of the Match - Hazard

I thought that we played well and was delight to be able to give Kane a few minutes on the pitch even if it wasn't really long enough to make an impact. Ba also managed to grab a goals so he is off the mark now but it really was all about hazard who did played brilliant.

League Table

As you can see things aren't looking too good after a disappointing opening to the season,my team really seemed to have struggled to get going though hopefully they will find there feet in the coming months and press on from 11th I mean I'm only 10 places off first right!

Great signing mate!
Excellent start for your first story! Some good signings and an interesting move with A. Cole! Some tough results but looking forward to seeing improvements
Team meeting

RL - "Okay lads I've called you in to raise a few concerns,I believe the results in the premier league this month to be disgraceful. We should be in the top #4 never mind languishing below the top #10"

Cpt - "The boss is right lads, some of our performances have been awful,we should be beating all of these teams comfortably."

Cole - "Why should I play for him!"

RL - " Fine Cole. Don't play for me play for the club, the shirt, the fans, the money or even the GLORY! Just WIN dammit!"

September Review

After the previous month I was hoping for some good results and some players returning from injury would be a nice way to start. I always reviewed my formations, and decided to change my approach believing that a good defence was key to winning.

Aston Villa 5 - 2 Chelsea
Teamsheet - Cech,Bertrand, Cahill,Luiz,Ivanovic,Lampard,Romeu,Moses,Mata,Torres
Subs - Turnbull,Loftus-Cheek,Kane,Lalkovic,Ramires,Ba,Mikel.

Moses
Bent
Hazard
Benteke
Holman

Cahill Kane
Mata Loftus-Cheek

Man of the Match - Benteke

A very poor game to say the least, after half time Cahill forgot that he was even on a football pitch maybe a potential transfer out.

Chelsea 2 - 0 Swansea
Teamsheet - Turnbull,Cole,Terry,Indi,Ferreira,Romeu,Lampard,Hazard,Mata,Moses,Ba
Subs - Cech,Loftus-Cheek,Lalkovic,Torres,Ramires,Van Ginkel & Mikel

Ba
Lampard

Ba Torres
Mata Van Ginkel
Romeu Mikel

Man of the Match - Frank Lampard

Vital 3 points so pleased to walk away with a win and a clean sheet Turnbull seems to be out performing Cech at the moment, although I don't believe he will be fantastic I shall be watching him closely to see if he merits more first team football.

Chelsea 2 - 0 Arsenal
Teamsheet - Cech,Cole,Indi,Luiz,Azipiliqueta,Mikel,Ramires,Lampard,Hazard,Mata,Ba
Subs - Turnbull,Loftus-Cheek,Lalkovic,Torres,Marin,Van Ginkel & Romeu

Mata
Ba

Cole Romeu
Lampard Van Ginkel
Hazard Marin

Man of the Match - David Luiz
Delighted that my tactic worked well managing to keep Giroud quiet which was key and pleased to get a 2 goal gap even though we got it right at the end of the game. Always good to beat a rival and another clean sheet, now i just need to hope my defence can keep it up!

FC nordsjaelland 0 - 6 Chelsea
Teamsheet - Turnbull,Cole,Indi,Luiz,Azipiliqueta,Mikel,Ramires,Lampard,Hazard,Mata,Torres
Subs - Cech,Kane,Lalkovic,Ba,Marin,Van Ginkel & Romeu

Man of the Match - Torres

Delighted that Torres put in a match winning performance scoring 3 very nice goals and another good defensive display now sitting second in the group only behind Benfica on goal difference (1) since they will be our next game its nothing really to worry about.

Everton 0-1 Chelsea
Teamsheet - Cech, Azipiliqueta Cahill,Indi,Cole, Romeu,Ramires,Lampard,Mata,Moses,Ba
Subs Turnbull,Kane,Hazard,Torres,Ivanovic,Van Ginkel,Mikel

AzipiliquetaIvanovic
Lampard Van Ginkel
Moses Hazard

Man of the Match - Baines

Delighted at another game without conceding although I would have liked to have scored a few more however its was great that we have managed to stay there and the defence is now doing a wonderful job.

Summary of the month
It's been a great month for the cluband I am delighted with the football we are playing the change to the formation is clearly paying off, hoping that the defence can hold firm so we can pick up a few more clean sheets in order to catch up with the top #4 although we shouldn't be to long now as long as we can keep the back line solid i am confident that we will be able to push on from what has been a bad start to the season.

Star player
Although this was a tricky one to pick due to some good displays from various players in the end it was always going to be .....

BRUNO MARTINS INDI

He's been fantastic in the games he's played in and is probably responsible for us keeping clean sheets in 4 out of 5 of our games.Without him in the team I think we would have probably only got a few draws everyone seems to perform well when he is in the side. Next JT maybe? Worried about what would happen if he gets injured but pleased he is playing well when I need him too especially when he has so much potential.
Looks like you paid good money for him then.

Some fantastic results especially the 6-0 thrashing. Keep it up Roblaw!
That defender becomes class so a great signing and a shock loss at the start but well recovered mate
@Kirups I wasn't as shocked as I should have been by the loss against villa just because of my crappy form

@GlennT Yeah if he keeps up these performances I will be very pleased, although cole has stepped up his game also in recent weeks it might be too late for him to reclaim his place in my side.
Nice saga between you and Ashley Cole!

Cole happy at Chelsea

Although there has been a large amount of speculation regarding Cole's future at the club he has recently declared himself delighted to be part of the Chelsea setup, early in the year he was placed on the transfer list by Lawrence due to a poor performance and then unprofessional behavior by Ashley who wanted to leave the club saying he had lost all respect for Lawrence and felt it was impossible to continue working at the same club as a manager who he thought didn't understand him.

This has been viewed as a huge turning point for the club as they have managed to get one of there most influence players back on side.As of yet we haven't heard anything from Lawrence regarding this dramatic turn of events. This news is likely to please the Chelsea fans who were expecting to see the English fullback leave in January.

It looks like there could be something of a future for Cole in the Chelsea squad yet as Lawrence has been previously caught saying that he holds no grudges.
