Hello guys. All of you will know me as KingPadster but I’m here thankfully with my new account as I have decided to delete the other one.

I’m starting from ground zero here and also take great pleasure in introducing TheSamps8 who is a close friend of mine and has begun a Stuttgart save.

This is why I have decided I’ll join him with a story of my own which I like to think have been successful in the past.

Please support both and enjoy.

I will be…

Borussia Mönchengladbach

FAVRE RESIGNS

Lucien Favre has resigned from his post as Borussia Mönchengladbach manager after he led the team to UEFA Champions’ League qualification.

The Swiss had been with Die Fohlen since 2011 after a spell with Hertha Berlin and led Gladbach to a 4th place last season, winning 2nd place in the Bundesliga Manager of the Year 2012.

Favre has been heavily linked with the vacant Werder Bremen job in the past and as it stands remains to be his likely destination.

Sven-Göran Eriksson and Gladbach legend Herbert Wimmer are believed to be favourites to fill the hot seat at Borussia-Park.
Not gonna lie, your story name is so cringey!!!

LEHMANN LANDS JOB

Former German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has today been announced as the new manager of Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The ex-Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund man starts his managerial career at 43 years old after penning a one year deal with 'Die Fohlen'.

Although Lehmann has no managerial experience, he’s confident he can make a name for himself and get Gladbach to challenge for European football as they did with Lucien Favre.

“We have a good young squad here and are a qualifier away from Champions’ League football. It’s going to be an important season for us and I can’t wait to start.

“Many people know me of course but not as a manager so I have a lot to prove but I’ve been given the job via faith and I am confident I can live up to expectation.”

Lehmann was also quick to suggest some signings may be on the way despite the small budget given to him.

“We don’t have much money but I feel we can still add some quality to the squad. We have a good team so I would think realistically we only need one or two additions.”

Lehmann began his career at Schalke in 1988 before representing the likes of AC Milan, Dortmund and Stuttgart. Lehmann was also part of Arsenal’s invincible team in 2004 and went on to earn 61 caps for Germany.

ARNAUTOVIC GRANTED MOVE

Marko Arnautovic has become Borussia Mönchengladbach’s first signing of the season after being left discontent at Werder Bremen.

The Austrian moves to Gladbach for a fee of £4.5 million and signs a deal worth £8 million in wages for five seasons.

Arnautovic requested for a move after both he and team mate Eljero Elia claimed they were left alienated from the squad due to a late night visit to a nightclub.

Bremen chiefs were reportedly unhappy at the pair which has led to Arnautovic’s departure but Lehmann remains confident the media circus won’t affect his settling with ‘Die Fohlen’.

“Marko is a professional and his problems with Bremen are to be left in the past. He’s a talented player and I’m confident he can produce for us when needed without any troubles.”

The 24 year old began his career at FC Twente back in 2006 and featured briefly for Inter Milan in 2009 under a loan move. Arnautovic then went on to make 66 appearances for Bremen.
Good signing and nice layout :)

DE BRUYNE LOANED OUT

Kevin De Bruyne has been loaned out to Borussia Mönchengladbach for the entire season following confirmation from Chelsea.

The Belgian was believed to have had crunch talks with new boss Jose Mourinho after the arrival of Bayer Leverkusen’s André Schürrle.

Mourinho granted De Bruyne’s wish for first team football after reportedly admitting he did not count on him to be a regular this season.

De Bruyne becomes Gladbach’s second signing of the season following the arrival of Marko Arnautovic and boss Jens Lehmann has admitted it may be the last.

“De Bruyne is exceptionally talented and I feel we have done the right thing in gambling financially for him. With the ability he has, it’s no wonder the wages offered to him by Chelsea are a little more than we can comfortably afford.

“We’ve got our man however and it is unlikely we will move for anybody else this summer without chopping down the numbers first”

Pre-Season 2012/13

“Fair enough we didn’t face any team at our level other than Cruz Azul and Sparta Prague but you cannot ask for much more than the results we got here. The important thing about Gladbach is that we are a unit and it is that togetherness that will help us achieve our goals. The fact that the likes of Luuk De Jong and Kevin De Bruyne have settled in so quickly and chipped in with goals exemplifies that. A great pre-season and we are raring to go for the start of our Bundesliga campaign.”

Gladbach Player of the Month

Martin Stranzl

Stranzl was the key this month to our stellar defence with a hatful of great performances. He will be very important to us this season with his experience, especially in the Champions’ League.

Lehmann’s Review: “We started brilliantly I feel and we are gathering a strong understanding. The main aim was always to clinch Champions’ League football and we did that. I expected to beat Karlsruhe and Braunschweig, which we did. Not conceding a single goal was a complete bonus.”
nice start mate :) a good few bundesliga stories going on!
Nice start mate, but the title... (I don't think i nedd to go any further with that statement). Anyway, great start, but just a quick question out of sheer curiosity, why did you delete your old account??
Good luck Paddy!

I'm currently competing with TheSamps8's story so we both agreed it would be fair if I had a fresh account with 0 posts like his. Since two accounts are not allowed, it was deleted by request. As for the title... The Brain went blank but at least I'm sure it got a few more views for us :D
Paddy, you're here again! Finally you changed your mind... Thanks to your friend... ;) I'll be following both your stories, let's see who is gonna obtain my favor... :D
