I have just won the league with Southampton and I would like to bring a big name to my club but no 5 star players are interested. How do they become interested. I have a lot of money and a big wage budget.
It depends on your club's reputation, try improving that. It takes time though.
Winning competitions and matches will improve club reputation.
The reputation is increased so slowly that it is probably not going to be an option I am afraid.
You need to target players from clubs or league with lower reputation then yours.
Something a lot of people underestimate is how much training facilities can affect a club's reputation. An up and coming star will more than likely not want to go to a club where they won't develop as much as they would in another. Constantly upgrading your training facilities will attract more players.
getting affiliated clubs in countries you want players from helps a lot too, raises your profile with players from that country and it's leagues.
