Santos - World Domination

Santos have found their manager in the form of Brazilian legend Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, also known as Ronaldo. The appointment comes after the sacking of former Santos manager Muricy Ramalho. Ronaldo is yet to make a comment on the job.

I've been trying to use the codes but I can't get the thumbnails to work, I will use titles though. I just couldn't then because I was on my ipad and it takes forever to do there. Will look into thumbnails.

Ronaldo takes control, 2 loans and a dude-a

Santos manager Ronaldo has signed Mbaye Niang on a season-long loan from AC Milan in one of three Santos transfer deals.



In addition to this, after the rumours that lead goalkeeper Rafael could be leaving, Ronaldo has brought in Liverpool keeper Péter Gulacsi on a season long loan.



The final addition to the Santos squad is Portugal and Malaga midfielder Duda, who could be bought for a sum of around £3,500,000. The staff are impressed with the three signings and hope it'll help them in the cup.

Overall Report
Some great games here for Santos, but the loss against Sao Paulo was quite disappointing. However, the 10-1 win against Botafogo was an outstanding game, which leaves us in 2nd place.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Neymar was exceptional this month, scoring 6 goals in 4 games, and just simply playing amazingly. Worthy players to mention are Joao Pedro, Mbaye Niang and Duda, the latter two both impressed on their debuts.

Copa Libertadores groups drawn

The Copa Libertadores Group Stage has been drawn, with Ronaldo's Santos entering Group 7.

and Once Caldas of Colombia

Santos are heavily tipped to triumph in their group, but will face tough competition from all three teams. It won't be a walkover.
