Playing Football Manager 2013

I am playing or trying to play the game. I have the required specs on laptop.
But the machine keeps turning off. I can't even start a game as yet, and I am frustrated. Any ideas?

By 'the machine keeps turning off' do you mean your laptop shuts down?

If so, i reckon it is possibly overheating when the processor fires up loading the game, try cleaning out your heat sink or air blasting the dust out of your vents?
