Thanks mate will admit the start of the season has not been good at all. It is a bit disheartening tbh but I'm going to stick with it so all I need if your support

August/September- mixed feelings

It has been a mixed month with some good results but they have been outmatched by some not so good results.

Chievo Away

Maldini’s notes: Not a good start at all. Very disappointed in De Jong for the sending off and no effort was put in by the lads. We had started well but after one attack we had none for the rest of the game. We deserve the result and I can defend the boys for such a bad performance.

Catania Home

Maldini’s notes: Another bad performance. We were on the back foot the whole game and another game without a goal. None of the players are even giving 100% at all and that is very disappointing. The only plus is that we did not lose, and that is saying something.

Fiorentina Away

Maldini’s notes: Another disappointing game. I am tweaking the tactics but something is not right. The players have no drive and there is a lack of discipline in the team which players have voiced their opinions about. I feel we are way behind Juventus and we can only hope for a champions league place. We have no chance at winning the title.

Roma Home

Maldini’s notes: Finally. We have won a game and scored goals. We were excellent and we deserve the 3 points. Things are looking up for us and we are on the road to recovery. I feel that the team still needs to up their levels of performance to make sure we are consistent.

Sampdoria Away

Maldini’s notes: Back to usual now. Nein Nein Nein as the Germans would say. We started well but another sending off made us lose and I need to be tougher on the players and make sure this lack of discipline stops right now.

League Table

We are right at the bottom end of the table and we need to improve and try and get into the top 3 by the end of October so we can nail down a champions league place.

Gladbach Home

Maldini’s notes: Well a good win and I feel we need to qualify from the group to make sure we make sure the season has some form of success. I intend to reach the last 8 at least. The performance was okay but Balotelli will not feature for some games for me as I have lost it with him and he is just wasting our time getting sent off all the time.
