YonuTz94 : Yeah I feel I've got a pretty exciting striker (since I'm slightly ahead). All will be revealed soon :D

LAURENTIIS: IBRA WILL MOVE

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis believes Paris Saint-Germain talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave this summer following the arrival of Edinson Cavani.

Cavani joined PSG from Napoli just a few weeks ago for a fee of £59 million which could prompt Ibrahimovic to depart the oil rich club according to Laurentiis.

“For the past three seasons PSG have asked us for Cavani so they were desperate to take him. They finally got their man so it will be incomprehensible if he sits on the bench.

“Evidently Cavani will play but I don’t think it will be alongside Ibrahimovic. Firstly they are too alike and secondly that just isn’t the system Laurent Blanc likes to play with two strikers.

“Now if anybody thinks a player of Ibrahimovic is going to sit on the bench happily they must be mad. He will leave PSG for sure.”

Laurentiis has revealed he would welcome Ibrahimovic at Napoli but admits any move for the Swedish international is raw.

“I like Ibra a lot but which manager doesn’t? Mourinho and Guardiola maybe don't but that’s where the line ends. Everyone wants Ibra, including me.

“There is a difference between wanting and bidding however so a move to Napoli is highly unlikely at the moment. Of course you can never rule it out but it is not something we are looking at right now. However, who knows what might happen in the future”
Nice update there it will be interesting to see were he ends up.

SANCHEZ RETURNS TO ITALY

Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez has left Barcelona to sign for Napoli in a £14 million deal that sees him return to Serie A.

The former Udinese star moved to Barcelona in 2011 for £23 million but failed to impress at Camp Nou, leaving Napoli to snatch him up for a cut-price deal.

Sanchez arrives at Napoli as the 6th summer signing for Benitez after agreeing a 5 year deal for a cool £80,000 a week.

Benitez is confident his biggest summer signing so far can put behind him the experience at Barcelona and reignite some form back where he begun to shine.

“I have a lot of belief in Sanchez’s ability. He is technically impeccable and possesses very good attributes.

“Unfortunately things didn’t go to plan at Barcelona but these things happen a lot. We know what he is capable of and strongly believe we have signed a great player.

“Alexis has a point to prove which is something I secretly like because he will go all out to impress in Napoli colours. You cannot eclipse his talent with past difficulties.”
Ooooo Alexis, good player ! Nice singing, good luck man .

Nice signigs! With so many amazing players in your squad, you will be contender for Serie A trophy. :)
Great signing in Sánchez, and a bargain deal for him too! He will do well for you :)

ZUNIGA SIGNS FOR MILAN

AC Milan has signed Napoli’s Columbian wing back Juan Camilo Zuniga for a fee of £10 million on a 3 year deal.

Zuniga becomes the second high profile departure from Napoli this transfer window following Edinson Cavani’s move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The departure is not one that has pleased Napoli fans in terms of squad depth but Benitez has indicated his decision to cash in on Zuniga could mean a change in tactics.

“Zuniga is a great player so I can understand fans becoming unhappy to see him move to a competitive rival.

"Depth wise we are still fine. Armero is the left back we are putting faith in and we are also open to playing 3 centre backs so selling Zuniga for £10 million is good business for us.”

Benitez has also admitted many more players may depart in the coming days as they continue to look for a Cavani replacement.

“We have received a number of offers for some of our players and it is a good opportunity to cut costs in places not needed so that later we can reinvest. All I ask for is trust.”

Carlos Britos also has moved away from the Stadio San Paolo, albeit on loan to Serie B’s Palermo until the end of the season whereas Federico Fernandez has signed for Stuttgart in a £2.1 million deal.

AZZURRI BAG JOVETIC

Napoli has today announced the signing of Montenegrin star Stevan Jovetic from Fiorentina for a fee of £22 million.

Jovetic becomes the 7th big signing of the summer from Rafa Benitez and one Napoli fans have been craving for as he replaces Edinson Cavani.

Benitez believes Jovetic can excel at Napoli and will be the perfect player to deliver new heights for the ‘Azzurri’.

“Stevan is an incredible player and one we have been watching closely. He’s grown in the Serie A and become one of the league’s best players so obviously I’m delighted to sit beside him here today.

“I will look at him to be our new talisman now. He’s done it for Montenegro and Fiorentina with immense quality. He still has space to develop as do we as a team so it was a perfect match.”

One man who may be on his way out is Goran Pandev after Benitez revealed his uncertainty over his situation.

“I’ve not had the time to speak to him about it yet. We understand there may be the possibility of a move elsewhere, with more notable interest coming from England.

“We will sit down and talk about it soon if any interest intensifies regarding his desires but Pandev remains in my plans for now. Nothing has been decided yet.”
Great singning, and a good replacement for Cavani.
