York City- The Only Way Is Up

First off, usually I don't have the patience to do more than one or two seasons with teams in Football Manager. Though, I believe that this one will be an exception. York City went up to League 2 by winning the Blue Square Bet Premier playoff. I think that this is gonna be a real intresting challenge, even though I pretty quickly realized that we have descent players in our squad. The key players is Ashley Chambers, Jason Walker and Scott Kerr. So, to the story.

We had a good pre-season, with three victories, and one draw:
York-Aston Villa Reserves 3-1
Hyde-York 1-2
Southport-York 0-3
York-Burnley 3-3
