After my FM2013 was mysteriously deleted and after being re-downloaded my steam was uninstalled but now all the problems have been fixed and I’m ready to go again. As for “Bath Boys: Scripted?” that story is now on hold indefinitely as I have been too lazy to download FM’s genuine editor program.

Breaking News: “Have Swansea gone mad? Relatively unknown manager Leroy Van Nuys takes the helm!”

“In his first press conference as manager Van Nuys stated that he grew up admiring the likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo who formed the three-pronged trident of the Selecao’s attack in their hey-day and he has stated that he will be looking to construct his own Brazilian trident at the Liberty Stadium and that to form this trident he might have to get rid of a few rusty pieces. An outline of his transfer policy or just the ramblings of an inexperienced manager, we’ll have to wait and see.” – Drake Boomsfield, The Welsh Herald.

I decided to skip the meetings so that I would be able to carefully determine my transfer budget and season expectation. Secondly to make my mark I decided to hold the inaugural Liberty Cup with SC Retz, Crystal Palace and Sparta Prague. (Unimpressive I know but you have to start somewhere.)

We kick it off by dishing out a 4-0 whitewashing to the Austrian minnows who came into the competition expected into receive a pay check and get back onto their plane; a few hours later Crystal Palace defied all odds by overcoming Czech giants Sparta Prague 3-2 however to be honest I was disappointed when I found out that Wilfried Zaha failed to get on the score line.
In a thrilling final we went 2 up before Crystal Palace pulled one back in the 89th minute but the boys rose to see off the potential upset by holding the line till the 90th minute. So s it stands the Liberty Cup 2012-2013 winners are Swansea.

In other transfer news rookie manager Leroy Van Nuys released a coy 6 word statement on the social network Twitter in regards to Swansea’s new attacking lineup; “The left Prong is in place!’’ a few hours later he then posted this “The saint has signed!”

However to balance our finances we had to let go of some dead weight; firstly we shipped Nathan Dyer off to West Brom for a satisfactory 4.1m. Next we managed to land Wellington Nem at his buy-out clause thus putting the right Prong in place now all we lacked was the center-piece, our man to spear-head the attack.

Transfer Summary:
IN: Bernard - 37m, Wellington Nem - 17.5m

OUT: Nathan Dyer - 4.1m

Hope you enjoyed it and look out for the follow up (tomorrow or sooner), by then!
