So, my exams are over (for this year anyway), and I wanted to do a story to do over summer. AC Milan are a team that are admired by many including me, and on FM they're really fun yet challenging team to use. Hope you all enjoy my story.

Why AC Milan?

Well, being one of the most illustrious and successful football clubs in the world, they're pretty big, no? At the moment they're not doing well enough for a club of their stature. And it's a big task to get to the top of the Europe, but there's added pressure for Milan. But they do have a decent side and some quality young players to help you through the challenges you will face.

Good luck hopefully we can have similar succes with our stories. Try and not to 'reserve' posts, its your story nothing will happen to it and no one will delete it. There is no need for it.

Good luck tho :P

Thanks mate, yeah hopefully. Good luck in yours too, I've been reading it. Hopefully you can go on a strong run. The reserve, I dunno, just used to using them on other sites I guess and I ran out of time as I'm on my phone. Will just be for info and a general place to put things related to the story into.

Allegri resigns from Milan post

Massimiliano Allegri has officially stepped down as the head coach of AC Milan. The former midfielder says he quit because he 'couldn't deal with the pressure'. The 45 year-old commented, "This wasn't an easy decision to make, but I couldn't live with this post. Milan are such a big club, and they have such a young squad, yet they're expected to be successful in both domestic and continental ventures. I've had a good run here, but I feel my time needs to brought to an end. I can't thank the fans or the players enough for what they've done for this club."

With Milan looking for a new man, many sources are suggesting club president Silvio Berlusconi is hoping to appoint a young manager with potential. It'll be interesting to see just who that is.
Good Luck :)

Seedorf the man for Milan

AC Milan are delighted to announce the signing of the former Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf as successor to previous head coach Massimiliano Allegri, which also sees the end of Clarence's illustrious playing career and Botafago spell. The Dutch Milan legend has signed a one-year deal with the club. Fans are said to be very happy with the appointment of a man who shares so much history and memories with the Italian Club.
36 year-old Seedorf said to the press at his first conference, "Wow, I didn't expect this. Allegri going was a big enough shock for me. Then, to be offered this job at this club? I was in disbelief. It was an easy decision to make. I'm sad to have hung my boots but I've had a great career. I'd like to thank everyone involved at Botafago and the fans for my short, yet memorable time in Brazil. Milan are very special to me. The city's magic, so's the club. I'm very grateful and happy to be the new head coach of AC Milan, thank you."
Silvio Berlusconi, the controversial AC Milan President, added, "We felt Clarence was perfect for the role. It might be a risk but he's young and very ambitious. He's tasted previous success with this club. He knows it inside out. It's great for all parties..well maybe not Botafago!"
Good start, and an interesting appointment :P
