How to change teams in leagues

I want to put Rangers in npower League 2 but I don't know how to do it, I have the editor and everything but I tried replacing swapping Newport County with Rangers and it didn't work. Can anyone help?

did you save it afterwards, then ticked the change when starting the new save?

Yeah, can't get my head around how to save the editor because I tried adding 3 players and it worked when I started one game, but when I started another with same database it didn't work. Might have to request someone to do one for me haha
