Who am I?

For this story, I am playing Alan Shearer. After his unsuccesful spell at Newcastle in 2009, I decided it would be fun to see if he could redeem himself.

Following the sacking of Alan Pardew, Alan Shearer has agreed terms with Newcastle United on a 1 year deal. Many fans are unhappy to see Shearer return to Newcastle, after his unsuccesful spell in 2009 where he was inevitabely sacked.

The Club

Newcastle United Football Club is an English professional association football club based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The club was founded in 1892, by the merger of Newcastle East End and Newcastle West End, and has played at its current home ground, St James' Park, since. The ground was developed into an all-seater stadium in the mid-1990s and now has a capacity of 52,404. The club has been a member of the Premier League for all but two years of the competition's history.

Alan Shearer has certainly not been shy when in terms of transfers, Bringing in 7 players to the club. Fans seem particularly pleased about the amount of young players he has bought. However, fans were confused about the signing of the 32 year old Mamady Sidibe. When asked about this, Shearer replied that he would be an excellent tutor for Adam Campbell.

August

A satisfactory month in terms of results, however the loss against Wigan is not acceptable.

Transfers:

Player Of The Month:

This month's Player Of The Month is Yohan Cabaye, averaging a rating of 7.72 and setting up 4 goals in 4 games. An excellent month for Yohan.

Our fixtures for September:

Decent month! A bit disappointing to lose to Reading but it's always an away trip early on in the season. Next month will be tough though. Regarding constructive criticism, I'd rather not post it on here but I'll find you or vice versa if anything :)
Good Luck.

And as Long as you play Dutch goalie's you're save with me :)
Those are some narrowly-focused formations. What kind of passing game are you utilizing? I'm not sure about using two defensively-minded midfielders, or so many advanced playmakers, but if you're using a more direct play style it might be a good move.

September

We started the month with a good win over Everton, followed by a point at City where we were extremely unlucky not to take 3. The Red Star result wasn't great, but we then got a massive 3 points against Chelsea! However, the 2 latest results are not acceptable.

Player Of The Month

The player of the month is definitely Simon Kjær, He's been a rock at the back, and consistently achieving a high rating. My initial plan for him was to be a backup. However, if he continues like this he will most certainly become a valuable part of the team.

October fixtures:
Decent month, obviously sucks to lose to Stoke but you beat Chelsea so it balances things. Next month doesn't get any easier unfortunately :)
Promising start, good luck mate :)

October

This month was awful, and has left us in 11th place, but still 3 points off 6th and plenty of time to turn it around.

League Table

November's fixtures:

November's fixtures seem fairly straight-forward, however their are no easy games and I must win.
Not too much of a bad start to the season. You should be in the Europa League places at the end of the season ;)

November

Fans are jubilant with Shearer, following their unbeaten month. After questioning fans, The general opinion of his return was "a pleasent surprise". Fans were not expecting much from Shearer, but are happy with the way he is managing the team.

A fantastic month, that leaves us 6th in the table with games in hand.
We were extremely unlucky against Red Star, having 28 shots to their 3.
Still, a very pleasing month and I hope we can continue.

In a recent interview with Alan Shearer, he said that "Champions League is a possibility." He stated that his team need to continue working hard and continue improving, he said that with such a young team, they will always continue to improve.

Transfer News: Newcastle sign Bochetti, for a fee of £0. He will join Newcastle on 1.7.2013.

A month of good results sees us rise to 4th in the table. Another good month which we should carry over to Janruary.
