Request: New site theme brainstorming

During the last month I've been trying to work on a new site theme. The progress is very slow due to the bad situation at the armory. We are low on soldiers and I cannot sleep a single day at home since November 8. I can only get few hours out once every 2-3 days.

I'm taking my first leave of absence on Saturday and for a week. Holidays time at last! I want to complete the new theme before the year turns, which means there is still time for you to suggest things you would like to see, things that you miss or you want to be removed. I'm open to all suggestions.

You will get screen shots of the progress along the way.

a create forum on front page, as it took me ages to work out how to make them, and i accidentaly made a blog instead.

Also would like choice of different colours.

Well I think a colour chance would freshen the forum up, how about a colour scheme similar to that of recent FM's and FMlive's. If you do a colour chance the need for a change in presentation does not have to be made. So either presentation change or colour chance.

blog-forum-page-comments integration, merge it all together

as for a theme: fm09 colours! you already got some orange elements anyway so it would work well

We don't want to merge those two together, (blogs and forum) some people in this forum don't know the difference and post threads there. Blogs are recently updated peices of work, Reporting progress, Tips e.t.c. We don't want more thread Blogs!

i think the colour change is a good idea, grey is boring.
