Hi yet again, I'm here with another story. But I've worked out how to take screenshots so this one will look a lot better and will (hopefully) be long. So sit back and enjoy the ride...

Day leaves Welling in £2k deal

Welling United's Player-Manager Jamie Day has joined Hereford United for £2,000. This leaves the Wings without a manager, and will be quickly searching for one before the new season starts in 2 weeks. People linked with the club are Michael Owen, Emile Heskey, Mido and David Beckham.
When asked about leaving the club, Day seemed reluctant to comment. However, when pushed for an answer he said:

"I'm really gonna miss my time at Welling, but Hereford came along with a stronger offer that I couldn't refuse. I won't lie, Welling will always be in my heart, but it was just time to move on I'm afraid."

Welling fans are shocked and upset by Day's departure, but are awaiting the new appointment.
Good luck, Alex.

Every girl with the guy after you :P

Good Luck with this one
Arvind: Thanks :)

Michael: Shh! But thanks :P

Welling appoint unknown Heardman as new manager

Welling United have quickly appointed their new manager in the form of unknown 25 year-old Alex Heardman. Heardman will be looking to get to a good start as manager, and released this statement on his now growing Twitter account.

"It is an honour to be just a little part of @wellingunited but to be the manager is something beyond words. I won't let it get to me though, I'll still be a dedicated, hard working manager."

Fans are happy with the appointment, but not all are happy, with @BenDover1999 saying

"He stil a fckin child cnt blev dat da club i flowd sins i wos born iz bein ran dan. #wotajoke"

This probably won't be the last we'll see of Ben Dover...
Wow, I think you have a fan...

Heardman replies to Ben Dover's tweet

Welling manager Alex Heardman has sensationally replied to Ben Dover's tweet! Dover, usernamed BenDover1999, had said:

"He stil a fckin child cnt blev dat da club i flowd sins i wos born iz bein ran dan. #wotajoke

and Heardman replied just 2 hours later with this:

"@BenDover1999 First of all, learn to fucking spell if you're gonna call me a child. Second of all, I'd like to see you as a manager. Thirdly, if I'm a child, and you're born in 1999, you're fucking 14 at the most. Finally, if you're such a big Welling fan, you'd support the board's decisions. Thank you."

The tweet has been retweeted over 200 times, and there were around 50 replies, none from Ben Dover.

Shopping Spree

After taking over as manager, I knew I had to reshape the club into Blue Square South giants. To do that, I had to sign people. So I signed not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, but seven players this transfer window, and all the deals were done in 1 week. Averaging at 1 player a day. Here are the signings in my shopping spree.

Billy Tsovolos is the first signing. An 18 year-old centre back who is already in the first team for me. Here are the stats:
Quite good for an 18 year-old at Welling!

Then came Charlie Kasler, an 18 year-old English attacking midfielder. At the moment, he's a backup player. Here are the stats:
Not a bad player at the moment.

Next up, 30 year old Colin Cryan. Cryan will be used as a backup centre back for the club. Here are his stats:
Looking okay for a backup defender!

Now over halfway, and the next player is Ross Burns. Burns is a 20 year old English defensive midfielder, who is a hot prospect at the moment. His stats:
Decent so far, but should improve soon.

The 5th player is Samba Kanouté, a Frenchman. Kanouté plays as a centre back and despite being 20, is the best player in the squad. Here are the stats:
Good at the moment, and he'll be improving!

The penultimate signing is Stephen Chiocchi. The Englishman is a 20 year-old right back, a position I don't currently use in my formation. However, he's a good backup player. The stats:
Looking good...

The final signing is 18 year-old Stephen Edwards. The English defender is currently a hot prospect, but should be rising through the ranks very soon. The stats:

And that concludes my shopping spree!

The Regular Tactic

I've devised a tactic that we should be using during most of the season. I think it fits the squad we currently have, and hope it will bring success.

Welling United unveil 2013-14 Puma kits

Welling United have unveiled their new season kits with manufacturer Puma and sponsor FM Scout. The home kit is the usual red and white, but has a small hint of black, while the away kit is a slightly tweaked white and pink-ish red.
