Minimum system requirements have been revealed for Windows, Mac and Linux on the official product page of Football Manager 2014 at Steam store.
FM14 is the most feature-packed and technically advanced release in Sports Interactive history, with over 1,000 new features and improvements.
The FM experience is enhanced with the game available on Linux for the first time and the introduction of 'cloud save' technology, meaning managers can now pursue a single career from any computer, anywhere in the world.

im from portugal i only need to know one thing the Network: Broadband Internet connection
that you refer is only for internet registration of the game or you need all time the net connection?my biggest question is can we continue play in offline mode(steam)?or we need internet connection every time?
please help me out i must now this to pre order or not the game

Internet connection is required to activate and download the game on Steam. You also need it if you choose to save your game(s) in the cloud (cloud save technology will be possible in FM14), if you want to download content via Steam Workshop tools, and of course when you want to play a network game.
Otherwise, it should be possible to continue playing in offline mode once the installation is complete.

As far as I know you need the internet only once when you register, after that you can play it off line, at least that is how it worked with 2013 so guessing it will be the same in FM2014. I will also be living in Portugal by end of year. Lovely place full of wonderful people.

It will run it but not too well.
I'm very very curious if they also improved/optimized the loading times.
This is a disaster at the moment with FM 2013 and 2012.
I'm using an Core i7 (quadcore)@ 3.1Ghz and FM uses only 1 !! core at 15% when loading in the game. Before that a dual core with same results.
Strange enough i cannot find any reports/complaints etc regarding this issue...

If you are having this problem try to re-install the game and see if it works

Any idea if the surface pro 2 will be able to run this when it comes out?? The specs look more than compatible but I've been looking through numerous pages but to no avail.
4th gen i5 processor with 8 gb ram and Intel HD Graphics 4400.
