[FIFA 13] Malaga: A Spanish Revolution

My return to writing

As you know, my Juve story stopped after where the save was, (my computer) stopped working for no apparent reason. Since my urge to write for the site again has over taken, I have decide to follow Rablador's step to make a story about FIFA 13 but, with Malaga. Since I have no computer, you wonder, how in earth am I writing this? Well, Im a genius so I can telepathically tell what to write in my head. (Jk, jk, I keed). It's from my iPad fellas, so bare with me on grammar mistakes.

How’s This Gonna Work, Then?

I will aim to make this exactly like an FM story in every way possible – expect one; screenshots will not be included in this story, as without using a shoddy camera, they would be hard to include!

There will still be a strong element of story to this; I will attempt to include just as much detail as I had in my previous stories. As I’m playing matches, I will take note of goalscorers and incidents to be included in later updates as best I can. Transfers will also feature the same style updates as they receive on FM stories and, well, other than that, I don’t really know what will happen. I’m just going to roll with it and see how we do.

Also, I'm going to add what happens with the big clubs throughout the transfer windows and talk about transfer requests, etc.

Of course, FIFA and FM are two completely different games, so I'm going to try my best. Wish me luck!

Manuel Pellegrini leaves Malaga

The Chilean manager has confirmed to the press that he is leaving Malaga, for Manchester City, after they sacked Italian manager Roberto Mancini some months ago. The manager will take the reins of the Manchester based club, as he will focus on a serious mount on the Champions League and snatch the Premier League title from their neighbors, Manchester United. The manager had some words to say on Malaga's official site.

El Ingeniero said,"I'd like to thank the club president Al Thani, for giving me the chance to manage Malaga during such times. However, with the club's finances still seem unknown, I have decided to leave Malaga in order to achieve my ultimate dream of winning, the Champions League." The statement by the Chilean manager continued by saying,"I would also give my thanks to the fans of Malaga, for supporting the team and club during these harsh times. Good luck."

The club have organized a farewell testimonial for the manager, that took the club to other levels, both Champions League and La Liga wise. The club will be looking for a replacement for the manager, and a suitable according to the club's president. He did release some of the names he was negotiating with to take the reins of the club.

In a press conference, Abdul Al Thani said,"This club will always have Manuel Pellegrini close to our hearts, but unfortunately, he has decided to leave for pastures new. We will begin our search to find the best manager available to us and that will please the fans. Some of the managers we have been negotiating have been Roberto Di Matteo, Bernd Schuster, Fernando Hierro, Raúl and Guti." The owner of the club finally said,"During the next week the board members, including myself will choose the manager that we think is best for the club both tactically and financially."

Of course, the departure of Pellegrini have made the fans revolt outside the club's HQ, but after the announcement of the testimonial of Pellegrini, they eased the pressure. The fans have stated that they wanted a manager as equal of the quality that Pellegrini has. This clearly points out to both Bernd Schuster and Di Matteo who are the only managers with experience in top teams with the equal quality that Pellegrini has.

Hierro and Guti announced as co-managers at Malaga

Former club team-mates will now meet again, now as co-managers in Malaga. After the departure of Pellegrini, the club were anxiously looking for a suitable manager to replace the Chilean manager. However, the club's president, seems to have liked both managers that he decided to employ them both.

The fans have seemed to be pleased with the appointment of both managers, as Hierro and Guti will bring something new to the table, as Hierro and Guti excelled in the defensive and midfield role during their playing times.

As we caught co-manager Hierro leaving the grounds of Malaga's ground, 'La Rosaleda' after the announcement he said," I'm pleased that I'm with Guti on this one. We will try to do the best possible for the club and bring a type of football that every fan will enjoy." The former Spain international quickly was found signing shirts from Malaga's fans and after signing everyone of them, he left the club grounds.

After discussing some things with the club president for a few hours, Malaga's other co-manager was bombarded by paparazzi's and quickly left the expensive restaurant paid by the Sheikh. However, when a young boy asked him for his autograph on his Malaga shirt, the former Real Madrid playmaker stopped in all the madness and signed the little kid's shirt.

I've got a bet on Guti to be sacked by November and Hierro to take full control (or vice versa). That ALWAYS happens with co-management teams
