André Villas-Boas throws 'hissy fit' over Gareth Bale

Tottenham manager André Villas-Boas has thrown a hissy fit over his star player Gareth Bale. The young player who joined the club in 2007 is expected to transfer to Real Madrid in a deal boasting more than £100 million but André has specifically told bosses at Tottenham to let Gareth stay. If the deal goes ahead, Tottenham will be in a vulnerable state and will have to buy a few players to substitute Gareth. André was pictured with Gareth a few days ago, smiling at him. The pair are very close and André will be upset to see him go.

"I think he's the greatest," André told newspapers this morning. "He's an amazing player and I don't want him to leave."
