Why has he deserved it?
With a lot of speculation that James McCarthy would leave the DW Stadium, he has performed consistently this month. There will be a lot of clubs going for the irish man but hopefully we can keep on to him.

Kilbane's month in words
A good start for us 7 points in 3 games has put many supporters minds at rest because of the solid defence. We only let in 1 goal in the 3 matches which is a good start for us. Hopefully, I can bring some new players in. Although. we've got a very hard group in Europe with the likes of Sevilla and Werder Bremen but hopefully it will motivate the players to play better.

Jan Simunek



Why has he deserved it?
Jan has been a rock at the back this month, besides the last game in which he didn't play because he wasn't fit enough he got a 7+ rating in all the games.

A good month in all, a little inconsistent towards the end of the half but I'm sure we will pick that up next month with the first game being Sevilla at home. We performed amazingly against Southampton and we were very unlucky against Fulham and Newcastle.

Why has he deserved it?
His last minute goal at the Etihad to salvage a point has done enough to get him his award. He also performed admirably in the other games.

A great start of the month started to deteriorate as we started to pick up draws and losses. The worst part of the month was going out to QPR in the Capital One Cup as we just didn't look up to defend the cup.

An very good month in all which saw me qualify to the UEL knockout round for the 2nd time in a row. Good win against Cardiff and I believe we should have got more at Hull but happy with the clean sheets.
