Hey guys, I have decided to write another story because even though I love my Chelsea one, I will still continue it and this is a little side project really. This story will be shorter than most on here since I will be managing a nation rather than a club.

The country

After much thinking, I decided to choose Spain as the nation I will manage. I was born in Spain and have always loved and admired the players there and felt it was the right choice. I didn't choose it because Spain are number one in the rankings or because they win a lot of matches but simply because I am a Spaniard, forever and always. I could have chosen England but Spain intrigues me so much.

Who

I love stories where the managers are well known but this time I chose someone that I made up so I could play out the story in a different manner. I chose a woman named Sienna Leigh and she is 25 in game. Sienna will try to win over the press in particular due to the media constantly thinking she is a rubbish manager.

My goals

My first goal is extremely important and I hope that we qualify for the World Cup. I want to also win the World Cup and qualify for Euro 2016.
Good luck :)

It begins

"Sienna," my kid brother shouted. "Look at me! I've scored a goal!"

"Tom, you're playing against yourself. You'd still score," I muttered angrily as he paced up and down Hyde Park with his top off.

"I know you're mad that Chelsea's Ladies team didn't offer you a contract but you'll get there, one day." Hearing my brother reassure me was comforting but I knew I had blew my chance. I was 25 years old, there was no hope for me at all.

"Sienna, why don't you apply at another ladies team?" Tom suggested but I had given up hope. I'm a rubbish footballer who sucks at everything she does. I got up off the bench and told Tom to fetch his ball.

"Why do we have to leave so soon?" He groaned but I just shut up and walked out of the park, dragging my 15 year old brother out of there.

"You can't play football anymore,"

"What?!" Tom yelled. "Why?"

"Because."

"Because you can't play? You're so selfish. No wonder why they didn't offer you a contract."

With that final word, Tom stormed off.

Was he right?
Good start can't wait for next update;)

The Meeting

"Hey Sienna," Tom called Sienna over after she walked down the stairs. "Heard the news?" He said with a big grin on his face. Confused, Sienna shook her head.

"Um no," She said. "Why?"

"Vicente del Bosque, the Spain national manager has resigned from his job."

"And?" Sienna questioned. "Just why?"

"You could apply! Your a crappy footballer with no chance of playing anymore so apply." He laughed.

"I didn't mean it," he apologised. "Go for it."

"No," Sienna said. "I'm not experienced and its not like I'm gonna get it."

"C'mon!"

"Nope." Sienna ran up the stairs, hurt by her brother's words of being a rubbish footballer.

Meanwhile...

"I've come to resign as the Spain national manager." Vicente del Bosque spoke as he approached the board of the team. One member spoke and cleared his throat.

"Why?" He asked.

"I am getting old and I cannot do the things I used to do. We need to get in a younger manager, preferably a woman."

"Whoa whoa Vicente, a woman? She'd make the boys lose control. A woman would not be capable of such a honourable job. Vicente, you can resign but a woman replacing you? Not a chance."

"Please listen-"

"No get out."

"You have to listen. There's this woman Sienna Leigh who is highly recommended on Facebook and is an ex footballer. Some boy named Thomas Leigh has created a following for her and says she will be great."

"Vicente, out."

Vicente then walked out, sadden that the board didn't listen to him.
