First of all, great job Eugene and Stam. First time I've used Genie Scout and it's absolutely brilliant. Thank you both.

Maybe a little tip for those guys having problems starting the program and are on Vista: I'm on Vista as well and the program would not load for me at all either. I would get exactly the same error message as the one that has been posted numerous times now (StackHash_41ea, etc.). Then I did was the following and it worked: I ensured that my machine had all the latest updates installed from Windows Update (go to update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate in Internet Explorer) and I updated both QuickTime and Java. Seems unlikely to me that updating QuickTime will fix Genie Scout, but updating Java sounds like a plausible fix. To update Java go to Start -> Control Panel -> Java. If it's not there download it from www.java.com

Hope this helps some of you!

Those of you that are on Windows XP might want to try updating Java as well (exactly the same way as in Vista). I haven't had the time yet to try this on my XP machine, but it might help.

won't run either vista SP2 and updated

just updated my quicktime as well, and still nothing

As you can see in http://www.fmscout.com/q-1832-Rating-Calculation--Strange-Results.html , at least both 1.1 and 1.11 have broken player ratings when it comes to player footedness - contrary to the list of things in the UI that affect ratings, it does have weight (but consistency etc do not!), and it magically makes a two-footed shoddy keeper be shown as better as a one-footed great keeper. Seems to affect all positions.

I have just downloaded the latest version of FM Genie Scout and the same message keeps appearing. I am not able to load the saved game.

My game is updated to patch 10.3.
