Dear diary,
Those were the two phone conversions I had with my friend Alex in the last five days. And they have already started to change my life.
My name is Raphaël Scott and today I became the assistant manager of Dartford, a Blue Square Bet South side. It's my first job in football and I hope it won't be the last.
I bought you because when I was going to Princes Park to sign my contract I thought I would be alone in a world that I only knew through my computer and Football Manager. So I wanted a friend.
A friend who would understand me, who would follow me everywhere and who I could tell everything. And then I spotted you, alone in a WH Smiths, probably waiting for a friend too.
So where will I begin? When I bought you I found a place for you in my bag, and I hope you like it, then I joined Princes Park and the Dartford F.C headquarters. Alex was waiting for me.
Who is Alex? He is one of my best friends and on the 5th of July he become the new Dartford manager. It's his first time as a manager but he has already worked in the football world.
He led me to his office asking me how things were going. When we finished talking he gave me a contract and with a big smile and he said in is Portuguese accent: "Just sign down here".
I replied with my French accent: "I surely will".
What? You didn't notice my French accent? So yeah my dear dairy, I'm French. I was born in Rouen.
But getting back to my story. I signed a 3 year contract and I will earn 275 pounds per week. Not much but it's a start, I didn't tell Alex but I hope to leave Dartford quickly, I want glory, I want Premier League, I want Champions League.
I met Tony Burman that as excepted was very surprised but he said he had faith in Alex's choices and he wished me good luck.
After that I met the other staff members. They were only two, a coach and goalkeeping coach.
"You will meet the team this afternoon, "Alex told me ," you could try to compile a report." I also want more staff. I have ideas for that but if you have any tips tell me. As for players signing we have a €2.87k transfer budget but we can't spend more on wages. The board's expectation for the season is to reach the play-off."
Me and the two others staff members have a small room to work. They thought I already had experience as an assistant manager so I had to everything myself.

Really nice diary, I' likening the new look! The 4-4-2 will be solid and I think you'll play well with that tactic. Good Luck!

But I just had the same problem than with Paris FC so this story is already coming to an end.

Even if I can't play anymore I will keep updating this story as I have 5 post ready. It will let me a bit of time to prepare my next story who will also be with Dartford.
Is there a back-up? Because the same thing happened with my Chris Kamara story, and there was a back up from the point where I had last saved it called Chris Kamara Story (Backup) so I could continue my story.
