Have you been sacked from your club? Not finding good ideas on how to use your best players? Struggling to meet the 'beautiful attacking game' criteria? or maybe you are just looking for some ideas? - you have got to take a look at this tactic.
Although, personally I prefer playing with two strikers (since FM15), this time I decided to have a go with playing AM (Att) above my central midfielders. And my oh my, it did provide for me some good results.
I must say, I am quite lazy person and like to use 'Instant Result' button, therefore I do not go to press conferences, I do not set up training plan (very occasionally I do some adjustments), this year I stopped even doing the team and tactical briefs (so bad of me). But hey, each person, goes for what they like - all of that is being taken by my Assistant Manager (bear in mind, you need to find a good one, who can Tactically thing well).
Just to make it clearer, in the screenshots, you will see my responsibilities, which I prefer to take as a manager (more you take, better for your club).
Nevertheless, enough reading me talking, quick info sheet about it:
GK - SK (Att) Keeper needs to be ready to play with his feet and leave the goals in order to play as the last defender.
RB LB - Wings (Att) Nothing unusual, modern tactics requires LB and RB to be one of their main engines. Stamina, speed, crossing, decisions, positioning, passing - key things what you are after. But in general, all attributes need to be as high as possible (Captain Obvious moment).
CB - BPD (Def) Work with them to make sure they look for a pass, rather than a dribble. Also, a good heading ability is important.
CM - DLP (Supp) + AP (Supp) Passing, passing, passing, passing, pressing, pressing, pressing and doing it as a unit. Very important here. Avoid lazy CM's, no matter how good they are. Let them dictate the game.
ATT WINGS - IW (Att) + IW (Supp) Speed, ability to dribble, decision making - key. They can be bit lazier with the pressing, but they do have a task in this system defensively as well.
ATT CM - AM (Att) Decision making, dribbling, flair, passing - key. But in general, you are looking for a player as Foden, Silva (-s) and etc.
ST - AF (Att) Positioning, heading ability, teamwork, determination, physical attributes - nothing new here, but this tactic scores goal with the head well, if you have a striker who can do that.
In general - tactic prefers possession-based game while playing entertaining football, leading to winning the titles and allowing for players to flourish under it!
Please refer to the info in the screenshots and tactic itself.
Good luck!
