Starting with a 2-3-2-3 in transition like most formations, with two BPDs and WBs and one DM or BWM (defend) .The most important roles in this formation are the two advanced playmakers because not only they create chances and facilitate heavily during the counter, they both cover high grounds all over the whole midfield area and mark two positions in midfield on the defensive aspect creating a 4-3-3 Wide with the two inverted Wingers ready to take on one on one defenders and an advanced forward for quick underlaps.. This formation was tested with Bayer Leverkusen and Man City on FM23 Only. With an average of 1.8 xg per game for city and B04 completing most passes in opp box and chances created, these are the positive results and outcomes throughout the season. finsishing second behind bayern that season. Every formation is without its cons but they are only one that stand out as most conceeded goals came from through balls while loosing possession from the mid half and below.
Regardless of the nature of the top team of use, you can test this tactic on other low Rep teams but i prefer ones with a high presing counter football nature with at least good advanced playmakers and good wingers with high sprints and attacking attributes ...
Finally, this system requires a heavily based training system for adaptability as its Team Structure requires a Fluid based system,I hope you find it rather positive on the attacking side of the game if not guaranteed success unlike mine. tnx
NT: The Ball Winning Midfield is more suited in both supp and def while having good attributes of DM as this is my go to, which u can tweak after downloading (:
