How to fix fake club and competition names in FM16
- Quit the game.
- IMPORTANT: Delete all files in these folder:
Windows:
\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2016\data\db\1600\lnc\all
\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2016\data\db\1601\lnc\all
\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2016\data\db\1630\lnc\all
Mac:
Macintosh HD/Users/"your computers name"/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steam Apps/common/Football Manager 16/data/db/1600/lnc
Macintosh HD/Users/"your computers name"/Library/Application Support/Steam/Steam Apps/common/Football Manager 16/data/db/1601/lnc
- Place "Daniel FM16 Fix.lnc" and "Daniel FM16 Club Names.lnc" to these folders.
Alternatively you could use "Daniel FM16 Club Names FC Version.lnc" instead of "Daniel FM16 Club Names.lnc" in case you prefer clubs having FC added to their name. - Run the game with real names.

I'm trying to gather some of the best graphic-downloads Football manager 2017. I would love to use this namepack, as I think it is the best and most complete one out there.
However, can I use this namepack in FM 17, or will I have to download an completely updated version of the pack within a few weeks for FM17? Is it worth it starting the download right now, or will I have to download it all over again in a few weeks?

But, I find some error. I used this file in first day, it's OK.
But in next day, it's some team name return again.
How can fix it?
I can't work it because in the folder data/db I have 1600 , 1601 + 1630.
What do I do with the info in 1630? I deleted the whole folder and the game crash dumps on start up. Any advice?

Also if you didn't have these folders, where are the fake license files that you need to remove? Doesn't make sense.
@RichardManuel: You are right. Sadly I don't currently have time to update this properly, so if anyone is willing to help please let me know.
@NickeFM: Any chance you have an older version? This was a problem with version 1.93. Please download again and replace your files.
It's a known problem seen in the former FM.
Otherwise, everything is good.
