Windows Installation
Program files -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Football Manager 2023 -> data
MacBook Installation
Application Support -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Football Manager 2023 -> data
All versions are extremely simple to install. Just download the version you want, extract the x2 .fmf files (winzip or winrar) then place the 2 extracted files in the correct above directory.
Done !
When SI update the game it puts your game files back to default and also creates a new version of the game. I then release a new version of the mod Simply just paste your downloaded files back in the data file and your new pack will overwrite the default sounds again. DO NOT PASTE AN OLD VERSION AS IT WILL CRASH YOUR GAME.

yesterday I’ve purchased the full version of the mod and it is amazing!
But there is one thing which I would
change - the goal song.
It is a bit unrealistic that the goal song turns on when the away team scores. Is there a way to change it, so it turns on only when the home team scores?
And is it possible to change the goal song to another song or even turn it complete off?

All sorted now, should be able to download again. Ive just installed the free version on my pc..... How much it has changed is scary... Sent me back a few years to when I first started this project
I have changed this from my end as well, thanks for sending this over. although i now feel that we will auto know if the goal is disallowed before we are told ingame as there will be no commentary or goal music, which is why I left it the original way so there was still some suspense to see if it was disallowed or not.
Change these lines from match_events.xml

The problem with this is that SI have written the code for disallowed goals totally wrong. They have the trigger for a goal scored.... Then a trigger for var... Then a trigger for given or not. In that order so the 1st trigger will always be the goal scored sounds. Then the var commentary... Then disallowed or allowed commentary. I have no clue why SI have written it this way.
Unfortunately the only available version for Macbook is the free version.
Macbook restricts users to only allowing to read 1200 lines of text in the text file which means the most commentary you can have is 1200 triggers where as Windows allows unlimited lines of text so the macbook version is a massive slimed down version unfortunately
