Fulham release ten

01 July 2021
Fulham FC have released ten players following the expiration of their contracts with the club.
Most notable amongst these players is 29 year old goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli, who has moved to Chelsea as a backup option for Edoard Mendy.
Bettinelli made his debut for Fulham in 2016 but never made the position his own despite playing 103 games in his time at the club.
32 year old Scottish international Kevin McDonald was also released after he failed to make a single PL appearance for the club in 2020/21. McDonald joined from Wolves in 2016 for £1.3 million and was a mainstay of the side in his first two seasons but is now expected to sign with Motherwell in the cinch Premiership.
The other players leaving Craven Cottage today include Jordan Aina, Ryan De Havilland, Lesley Duru, Jayden Harris, Jaydn Mundle-Smith, Luca Murphy, Julian Schwarzer and Martell Taylor-Crossdale.
