Shooting in the dark

today, it been made known that Steve Clark, has been relieved of his duties as west brom manager! The former Liverpool assistant manager had an impressive 2012/13 season however the board obviously didn't see it that way! Here's the man himself!

SC: "I'm absolutely shocked. No other way to put it! I thought we did really well last season, and I hoped to continue our good season into the next and go a step further, and maybe win something. I would like to thank all the fans for their support throughout my time here and I'd also like to thank the board for having faith in me and bringing me here to my first proper managerial job, I can't say I'm not dissapoint end in them though! All the best to the next manager!"
Good luck will read

"European qualification, is a must!"

Today, new baggies manager Alan Hansen entered into the conference for the first time as journalists and writers alike grouped up to get some insight as to what is going on at west brom! Here he is!

JR: Afternoon, Alan. How are you today?

AH: Good thank you! Yourself?

JR: very good, thanks for asking! So Alan, what are your expectations for the new season?

AH: well, first of all, we need to succeed in the cups! Some people say they're not important but we (West Brom) are a team that need to build and build around certain players and the cups are important for that, you can get an easy draw and pass into the semi' sand that can be great for things like moral and team cohesion! Second of all, I think we need a top half finish in the league... Yes I said we need to build, but we aren't a side that should be in a relegation battle! Top half is a must but in the next 2 seasons European qualification is so important to this club!

JR: well, it certainly seems like you are the man to lead this club...can you?

AH: of course I can? Look I'm not boasting about my own ability, but I know football like the back of my hand, I know it better than most and when you have such knowledge of the beautiful game you're always going to succeed surely?

JR: Ok! You seem extremely confident! Also, what will it be like when you return to Liverpool?

AH: So hard...it's gunna be so so hard for me! I was there for a long long time as a player I won so much stuff with them and I do miss the old days! It's gunna be emotional but playing against them will be tremendously hard, they're such a top team they look like it's there time to rise! I think the main threat in the league is arsenal and Liverpool! Forget your Manchester's and your Chelsea's, they're the teams to beat!

JR: And lastly, where will you look to improve your team?!

AH: Defence. No question. Im looking for a left back at the moment that's our weakest position, everyone knows it so I'm not afraid of saying it! I also think we need a new centre back but I also think Donervon Daniels will do well for us!

JR: Ok Alan! Cheers for your time!

AH: No problem!

"My names above the door"

Good morning sports fans, and welcome to sky sports news! Alan Hansen is just about to enter into a pre-match press conference so off we head, to west brom...we'll catch up on all the latest news when we return!

JR: Good evening Alan, good seeing you again how are you?

AH: very good thankyou!

JR: So Alan, how do you think your pre-season went?

AH: I think we've done well. We've made some good signings, we've gotten some very satisfying results and I think we've had a decent length of time to prepare for the west ham game!

JR: well, you certainly did have some good results, how will the west ham game turnout in your opinion?

AH: It's unfair to say, I could say we would win but we haven't seen west ham play to there full strengths and we haven't done that either. 1St games can go either way in every season even if it's Manchester city versus Crystal palace, it could go either way they're so unpredictable!

JR: Ok, fair enough. What about the signings you've made? Do you really think they're good enough?

AH: Of course I do? Why would I have brought them in? Are you stupid? I think our signings are perfect for the team and it's for me to be the judge of that, not you! It's my name above the door, not yours.

JR: Sorry, Alan! I didn't mean to cause any offence, last question. How will you look to approach the game?

AH: Again, with the stupid questions? Do you really think I'd tell you that and let the opposition get an insight into our tactics? I don't think so. Goodbye!

JR: Sorry, Goodbye Alan.
Good luck :P

The night before

The night before the game against west ham, was a toughy. There was excitement, but also fear running through my mind...I needed a quick scotch to calm myself down, so I took a long walk down to the Winchester, before you took one step through the door, you could here the crowd inside cheering and singing, Sunderland were playing Newcastle! A massive game for all fans involved! I glared at the screen for a moment, and then spun my head to order a drink before I was interrupted by a massive roar!!

*Johnson, plays the long ball up to Gardner! Takes a touch, it's crossed in! ALTIDOOOOOOOOREE!!! ALTIDORE SCOREEES!!! What a goal! And what a delivery from Gardner...*

Thats when it hit me, would something like this happen to me tomorrow? And which way would it go? My way? I certainly hope so! I quickly downed my drink, an stormed out of the front door, the echo from inside the pub was still insanely loud, but the street outside was quiet, to quiet. Street lights flickered and lit up the night as I strolled back to my flat...I walked nervously to my front door. I felt like I was about to uncover something big. I was right.
I took my keys from my pocket and unlocked the door, I gently nudged it ajar and peeked through the gap. I didn't think anything was wrong, so I just wandered on through my flat to my room tripping over something on my way through, although at that point I couldn't see so I rushed for the light switch. I could see again, but my god, did I wish I hadn't turned the light on now. I turned my head, and on the wall was no 48 inch flat screen tv, that was on the floor, in bits. On the wall was what looked something written in blood. 'Im coming for you.' I couldn't believe it, my flat was completely trashed, more to the point...there was blood all over my wall!! Where did it come from? What was I going to do...?
