http://d1lalstwiwz2br.cloudfront.net/images_users/groups/4508_small.1.png

Sunderland AFC are a English based team currently playing in the English Premier league. The stadium know as "The Stadium Of Light" is the 5th biggest stadium in the currant Premier league season with a currant capacity of 49,000. Sunderland have one fierce rival, Newcastle United, Newcastle currently lead the head to head battles between the two. Sunderland have never won the first division since 1935-36 season, before that Sunderland won the league in the years of 1891,92,94,1901 and 1912. Sunderland have also won the FA Cup, twice, in the years of 1913 and 1992 (which is their biggest piece of silverware collected since the 1st division win)

Di Matteo appointed

Roberto Di Matteo was today appointed new Sunderland manager, after Paulo Di Canio was sacked after a huge argument with the players in the dressing room and even with the supporting fans, after he walked over and shouted towards them. A large amount of the media filed into the Sunderland training centre to interview the ex Chelsea manager.
(RDM- Roberto Di Matteo, TS- TalkSport, MOTMM- Match Of The Day magazine, SSN- Sky Sports News)
SSN- Hello Roberto.
RDM- Hello.
SSN- How do you feel about being back in the Premier league with Sunderland?
RDM- It's very hard to explain my emotions, I am really excited to prove Chelsea wrong after they fired me, but I feel quite nervous that I may get the axe with this team.
MOTMM- Looking at your current team, where do you feel you need to strengthen or add more depth to?
RDM- To be honest I think every position could be strengthened, but at the moment I would say defence.
TS- Who is your main target, both to sell and buy
RDM- Umm... at the moment I cannot say, I haven't been able to look at the team properly just yet so yes I couldn't say
All- Thank You Roberto.
RDM- Cheers.
Posted 3 times? :O
@Louis- It's a glitch, deleting now. :P
Wow, if this happened in real life the mackems might have done better... they might have had TWO points by now!
Hope you do well despite the circumstances.

Sunderland 2-3 Hull Tigers

Sunderland fell to a strong looking Hull side today as they proved that little too much for the Black cats. Sunderland got off to a dream start under the new manager, Roberto Di Matteo as Emmanuele Giacherrini scored after just 5 minutes, as Sunderland midfield, David Vaughen intercepted a header and put a lovely through ball for Giacherrini who latched onto it and slotted easily pass the helpless, Allan McGregor.
Sunderland continued to pile on the pressure twice forcing fantastic saves from McGregor. But it wasn't until the 33rd minute that Dossena headed the ball into a empty net after Jozy Altidore was denied a chip over the goalkeeper, who only managed to parry it into Dossena's path. The teams went into the dressing rooms, with the score being 2-0 to the Black cats.
Hull looked a lot more brighter as the second period resumed as they now began to pose a threat to Vito Mannone's goal. It looked more and more likely Hull were to pull one back, Sunderland brought on Fabio Borini to try and get some shots away, soon later Ki came on, also he failed to make a impact on the game. But 63 minutes in Hull finally got the goal they deserved, as Alex Bruce scored from a lovely bit of passing from the host of midfielders.
The game was heating up in the last quarter of an hour, shots were made from all over the field and the goalkeepers were kept busy, but none of the two scored, but as always Stephen Quinn got the last say on that matter as he made it 2-2. The game wasn't done there though as Becchio lobbed the goalkeeper to win the game for the returning tigers.

"This month has been poor and the squad know this, but we are taking only the positives and we can and should be able to build on this. The signings made should help too and then we can get to the position the fans and board expect- Roberto Di Matteo.

Di Matteo resigns after huge row

In the nearly the same circumstances as ex manager, Paulo Di Canio, Roberto Di Matteo has quit Sunderland AFC. It has come to our attention that he quit due to a row with the chairmen, over a 5-1 home loss to Stoke. "I have quit for a reason, the players have no passion what so ever and I hope that they get relegated, because with the show the player have given over the first 2 months, I have not been impressed at all, Paulo is not to blame for the poor start and to be honest, he should be re-hired."

At the moment, Wigan Athletic have said to have spoken with Roberto Di Matteo over the currant open vacancy. Wigan lay in 13th and have a game in hand, with a win in that game Wigan will move upto 3rd position and will be 2 points behind, Middlesbrough and QPR.

"We are proud to confirm that Roberto has joined our side, with great pleasure we welcome Roberto to the club and expect results, he is the right man to take the club to the Premier league again." Wigan are currently participating in the Europa League too, where they have reached the group stage. Gyor, Fiorentina and Besictas in them, which is to be a real battle for the Latics.
How is that a manager who just 'quit' his job applies to Wigan and gets accepted?

#SKEPTICAL

Aaanyways.. looks like you are doing another save inside another story with another save..
