It was a great day for Manchester United. To come out and win and to do it so well and play the way we did was great. I hope we can take this into the new season and play this well.

Hull Vs Manchester United

As we go into are first league game against hull, I have told the players to play the Manchester united way. I want them to pass and move to keep the game going fast keep the tempo high. If we play like that we should win the game by a few goals. If we go into the game thinking we will win we won’t, the team need to play football and nice football. If we play the way I no we can play we will win. Now come on lads.

Hull 0-2 Manchester United

It was a good team performance and it’s something to build in. I thought the young players had a good game today and they should all build on that. It was good to get the season started and to get a wining start, that’s what we wanted. There is still a long way to go, and there will be a few up’s and down’s.
