A shock turn of events have ended with the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson announced. Manchester United are in shock as that is the man that most of them, have played most of their careers with. After 27 years of playing under Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United will never be the same again. We spoke to Man Utd player, Rio Ferdinand about Ferguson's retirement

So, what do you think about Ferguson’s retirement?
Well, it is huge! Ya' know, I've been playing under him for over 10 years and he made me the player I am today, I owe a lot to him. I just hope our new manager is as good as him.

David Moyes is the bookies favourite to takeover Manchester United but there will no doubt be many managers wanting to manage a club of this calibre. Manchester United fans just hope that the next manager will pick up from Sir Alex left off.
This is a good start, will follow.

Thanks!

Ryan Giggs has been announced as the new manager of Manchester United F.C. The Man Utd legend has 663 appearances and 114 goals for the Red Devils since 1990 when he came into the first 11 from the youth team. The appointment of Giggs was the decision of former manager Sir Alex Ferguson as he said that Ryan is someone with good experience and a strong knowledge of football. It definitely made the team and the fans happy as Ryan Giggs is loved by Manchester United fans for his many years of service to the club.

It remains to be seen whether Giggs can pick up where Ferguson left off and keep Manchester United will still be successful in a few years. Only time will tell!

Hi Ryan, it's great to speak to you, I would like to ask you a couple of questions if that's okay

Yeah, that's fine!

Thanks Ryan, first of all, how glad are you to have landed this job?

Well, it was definitely a surprise when Fergie asked me to be the next manager, but that doesn't mean that I'm not delighted to be manager of the club that I have pretty much grown up with!

Who did you think would get the job, if not yourself?

Well, like many people, I thought it was going to be David Moyes, as Alex definitely had a good relationship with him.

What part of the squad do you think is most strong?

Up front, we have very good strikers with the likes of Robin Van Persie and Danny Welbeck.

What part of the squad do you want to strengthen the most?

In the right and the left of defence probably, Partrice is still a good player but his ability is decreasing as the years go by, and Rafael isn't quite at the top level yet.

Finally, who do you want to get rid of, if anyone

I personally think that Büttner may be worth selling, and I want to sell Anderson as I don't think he can add anything crucial to the team

OK Ryan, thanks for your time and I wish you the best of luck in your managerial career at Manchester united F.C
Ending this story I would rather play as an international team, I'm really not enjoying playing with a club. If I can I might start this up again at some point...
