During my League 2 season the main formation I used was just a bog standard 4-4-2 as I felt it suited the players best and due to them being in a low division and them being a pretty low standard of players I tried not to over complicate my formation. However, I did use a 4-3-3 formation as my Plan B if I was searching for a goal and I also had a 4-5-1 formation if we needed to sit back and hold onto a lead or the team we were playing were a good passing side and I did not want to be outnumbered in midfield. The formation I selected did depend on the opponent but to be fair I mostly used the 4-4-2 as I found this the most effective.

I wouldn't say it was that much of a poor month
