Dawson: Stankovic can bring us success

Tottenham Hotspur captain Michael Dawson has spoken out about new manager Dejan Stankovic, with only kind and welcoming words to say about his new boss, saying he's "delighted" to get the chance to work with Stankovic, who was recently hired at White Hart Lane after Andre Villas Boas left the club to manage Barcelona.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Dawson said...
"I, for one, am delighted to be able to work with a man like Dejan, he's a legend in football and one I've admired for many years. I'll admit that I doubted the club's future a small bit after AVB left, but Dejan Stankovic could be the one to send us the one step forward that we have been searching for for a long, long time."
"The club shouldn't be playing differently, it's just different guidance that Stankovic has than AVB. In the first few days of training, the new signings have been more confident, everyone's been genuinely happier at the club. This is something I as captain love to see at a team like Tottenham Hotspur."
Other players such as Mousa Dembele, Jan Vertonghen and Roberto Soldado have tweeted, posted or just agreed with Dawson's statement, and Stankovic spoke out himself about the kind words said...
"Thank you to Michael and anyone who has supported me in my first few days as Tottenham manager, so far it's been a great, irreplaceable experience that I've thoroughly enjoyed, so it's really touching for me that others are supporting me in this amazing event."
"There will be just a few changes, maybe one revealed in the next few days, but I'll be sure to keep the club more or less the way they were, unless Levy decides against this. I do not want to do or say anything that'll at all ruin this experience, or abruptly end it - it's a miracle I've even got this far!"
Fans are warming more and more to Stankovic, after there was bad reception to his appointment, but the atmosphere between Spurs fans has been getting happier very, very quickly.
