The world had been at my feet for months, I was top goalscorer in the Youth league in England and I had taken Manchester United youth team top. I was just 16 years old and every single week I improved my performance. There was no stopping me, at all. I walked onto the pitch, we were facing Wrexham from the conference, this was the match where I could show my talent and show the fans that I was a star. We kicked off and I knew that this match was going to be special, I noticed Sir Alex and Bobby Charlton watching me and I knew that if I preformed I may get called up to the reserves, or first team.
I made a darting run forward as we had the ball and I was on the last man waiting, then the pass was made, I was through, I was thinking in my head of Alex calling me up... then it happened, Bang! As quick as a flash, I fell, my leg had snapped completely and I couldn't move at all. The ambulance arrived and I was put onto a strencher, I was in so much discomfort it was unbelievable.
2 days had passed and I was told I was to never play football again, it was the worst thing to be spoken to me in my whole life, my dreams had been shattered like glass and now what was I to do? The only thing I loved was football...
I began rehab and I recovered after surgery 3 months later, during this time I thought of what my future would be like that's when I received a letter, a letter that was the answer to my problems....
Remember when you said you said this:
Well, the beta's been out for like 3 days and you've already hit that limit. Congrats.
At this rate:
You're starting 0.66 stories a day.
Assuming the FM15 Beta is released on the same date next year, you'll have started an incredible 241 Football Manager 2014 stories by then.
That count is more than 120 times your original promise.
Oh, yeah...good luck.

@Rab- Nah this is going to be on FM14 full version, just starting it earlier as there is a lot of "talk" before the beginning of the story! I stick to that promise too, I will do on FM14 2 stories at most
I'm not quite sure how you're going to do that! You might finish two stories by February/march...and then you have to live with not making another story for a 5/6 months:) good luck with that:P

That just adds more evidence to the need to have restrictions on how many stories you should be allowed to start in a given time period.
The Letter
"Hello Adrian I have a letter for you" said the nurse to me as I lay in the hospital bed, I would be back home tomorrow and it would be weird seeing my own house again! The nurse handed me the letter and I opened it, very carefully. The top of the letter revealed itself and in bold it read "KRC Genk want you for their new manager" I quickly slipped the rest of the letter out and I was amazed at what it read. "Adrian Taylor, we would like you to take over KRC Genk after our current manager left with immediate effect. We believe you will be back home tomorrow from hospital but if anything happens please email us,
[email protected]. But if you would be able to please report to London airport and one of our staff members will be waiting for you and he and yourself will fly over to Belgium, Thank you."
I was amazed I was 17 and I would be managing a football club, who play in the Europa League and play in one of the top divisions in the world today.... but first I had to complete the interview and impress... but how was I doing to do that?
Must be a scam. Did they ask for money too? haha
The real and the fake
I had been looking at that letter for nearly a hour now, then only to be told it was a fake. I was really annoyed but as I just started to cause damage to the house, I received a letter, this time it really was real, it read.
Dear Mr Taylor.
We would like to give you the manager vacancy here at Athletic Madrid. We would happily give you 2,500k per week in the first 2 months and then we will evaluate your job and will rise the amount if we believe you are preforming to our expectations. Please come to Madrid and to the stadium, directions are in the attachment onto this letter for a interview on the 11th July and we will see if you have the skills. Thanks, yours truly Athletic Chairmen.
That had me shocked, I couldn't believe it this time it was true! I ma be the Athletic Madrid manager next week!
Who on Earth are Athletic Madrid?

Is it Athletic Bilbao or Atletico Madrid?! I'm confused.
