Ive only ever posted a story on here once before. I did that precisely because I managed to do something that I'd never done before which I suppose wasnt really all that special but I thought it was quite a big deal at the time.

You see, I often have this problem where I get to 3rd of 4th season and think "sod it, im moving clubs". So on FM12 when I managed to spend 5 seasons with Leeds before becoming enemy number one by taking the Man Utd job I was somewhat impressed and surprised that firstly I'd lasted that long without getting fired and that I'd seen out 5 solid seasons leaving Leeds firmly in the Premier League with a youthful exciting squad.

When I finally got round to buying FM13 I decided I really wanted to see just how many seasons I could go through.

I started with Man City but after 5 seasons I'd won everything and whilst it really was the perfect opportunity to continue as many seasons as I wanted there was just one problem: the Leeds job became available and they were struggling.

I took the job and preceded to get releagated to league 1 in my first season. My squad was awful, ageing and imbalanced and I had virtually nish to spend. Somehow, I still dont quite know how, but I didnt get sacked but I knew only promotion back to the Championship would do.

I've been grappling with how to effectively tell this story because its so bloody long and if I were me I would probably stop reading it by now.

So to gloss over a part I got promoted, brought in only youth players and got lucky with some cracking regens from my academy. I then got promoted to the Premier League in my first season in the Championship and after two mid table finishes I finished fourth in my 3rd season.

I had still been spending wisely, my biggest signing being 4.5m, and I was buying every promising youth player I could get my hands on.

I won the champions league in that first season (dont ask me how), my youth players stats were all shooting up because they were getting plenty of first team action.

To cut a very very long story short, I am now in year 2043, Ive build 4 or 5 entirely different squads all with the same ethos of buy at 15,16 or 17 and develop them, slowly integrating them into my team as players in their position approach 30. When a player approaches 30 (not always, but 80% of the time) I sell them for top dollar and bring in my young player. Having done this for the past 25 years I have built up a staggering amount of money (close to a billion) and won everything going including 15 straight league wins (still chasing number 16 this season), 8 league cup wins, 5 FA cup wins, 13 champions league titles (including an incredible 11 in a row), 10 world club championships, 11 european super cups and 14 community shields.

Somehow Im still going. I have no idea how long I will go on. I have on a number of occasions thought of joining another club (you name a top club and they have approached me) but I cant help thinking I will never get to practically build a club where all the team was bought by me, all the staff and even the bloody stadium is named after me. I think this time, I really am in it for the long haul....
