
“Armenian Football will Definitely Rise”, says FFA Chairman
‘In what may not be deemed as very popular news, Armenian Football has taken a drastic change, that was set up by the FFA. The FFA (Football Federation of Armenia) have declared to make the leagues expand in Armenia, allowing more clubs into the footballing system.’
“We have decided to invest heavily on football and create new clubs, because football is the ambition for Armenia and its citizens. Hopefully, this creates more entertainment for the citizens of Armenia, and we generate a lot of income too”, claimed Rafael Barbarian, the delighted FFA Chairman.’
‘The rules for the “Armenian High League” have been released, resulting a change from 8 to 16 teams in the Armenian Premier League. The First League has increased from 8, to 10 teams.’
‘Prize money has increased, and more importantly the dates have changed. Armenia will no longer start the league in February. They will play like most of the other leagues in the Europe, therefore the schedule will not be as confusing.’
‘The Armenian High League is ranked 99th in Europe, and the FFA wants to take them to that number one spot. Their CoEfficient number was also revealed:’
‘Armenia still very low, in 50th. The FFA have also revealed that there will be new managers in the league, aiming to help the teams rise in Europe. The Armenian Cup, has been changed drastically, with a lot of twists and turns to reach the Final, but they will be revealed later in the coming weeks.’
