Pearson Resigns

Today, Leicester city manager Nigel Pearson handed in his resignation. Pearson claimed he had done all he could at leicester, and felt he couldn't take them any further, here is the statment he gave out earlier this morning explaining the reasoning for his departure.

"Leicester, is a club that will always be close to my heart, I have loved every moment of managing this team. We've had some good times, and some bad times for instance, the goal Watford scored against us in the play offs that knocked us out of a chance for promotion. But when I took over, this team was battling to stay up in this league...and we've come so far. However, I feel I cannot take this club any further therefore, must resign. I have built the foundations, and now we just need the new manager to come in and take us to the top, and I believe he can. I have already suggested a great candidate for the job to the board, and I think if we get him, you'll love him. Thank you fans, players and board memebers of leicester city football club."

Well, there you have it, last words, that will never be forgotten by the leicester fans. We hope to bring you more very soon, hopefully on the new manager! stay tuned...

Beckham, in one of his final games for England

Today, our 'Sky spies' managed to scupper and scavenge evidence of the possible move Leicester city could make to try and bring England legend, David Beckham into the club...as manager!
Beckham did complete his coaching badges back in 2011, and now he's retired, he is eligible to manage any club of any stature, and the Leicester city board think he would be the perfect man for the job! Beckham not their man?

Dalglish, in his second coming as manager at Liverpool

Most fans, of Leicester city football club would have been extremely excited at the potential signing of David Beckham as their new manager, and i was widely expected he would become the man at the heart of this team, however, Leicester cities board seemed to have adjusted focus on to a more experienced manager...Kenny Dalglish.
We cannot confirm why, or what Dalglish was doing at the King Power Stadium, but some reports are suggesting he was there for a job interview, whether it was for a managerial position, we can no confirm.

Dalglish, had a very illustrious career as a player and manager, his most successful period, no doubt, was enjoyed at liverpool...Winning a number of titles and European awards as a player and manager picking up many many individual awards along the way...He wasn't short for goals either.

Beginning of a new era

Leicester city football club, have today announced that their new manager will infact be, the one and only...David Beckham. Fans all over had expected David to latch on to the job however those those hopes were suddenly dashed after reports from some of our 'Sky spies' suggested Kenny Dalglish would be the man to take charge.
While we were all speculating over who the next Leicester manager would be, Beckham was actually manager that whole time, and it is clear now that Kenny Dalglish was at the King Power Stadium because David wanted him as his Assistant manager/attacking coach. Although Beckham was confident of sealing the deal, the King opted for a bit more of an ambasadorial role instead, hense the reasoning for him being on the phone to us now...

Afternoon Kenny!

Afternun!

So, kenny first of all we like to congratulate you on becoming an ambasador for David Beckham and Leicester, but can you tell us a bit about your relationship with David?

Thank ya! Yes, me and David have a very solid relationship, he's a very passionate guy, he loves his football as do!! We are to very similar people, we think the same, and we like the same style of football, and I was honoured he asked me to become his assistant manager however, i'd prefer to go back into managing again, if coaching was what I wanted to get back into, although, it's not.

Ok, and how do you plan on representing Leicester?

Well, just by being there for the players, and for David. If anyone needs someone to talk to about how to improve their game or maybe even their personal life, i'll be there, i'll be there to help David when and if things get tough.

Very good, and lastly, may we ask why you didn't become Davids assistant manager?

Well, mainly because that's not my main speciality! my speciality is being at the heart of the team and being the man in charge. I could be an assistant manager but unfortunatley, and I will admit, I prefer to be the boss!

Haha, well thanks a lot Kenny will speak to you soon.

Kenny Dalglish there on his new job at leicester. Lets get an insight as to what the fans think.

@JamesLCFC: @LeicesterOfficial @DBecks. Im so glad you snapped David and Kenny up. Two very good and well experienced Players and Kenny as a manager. The future looks bright. #GreatMove #FuturesBright

@Leicester4life: @DBecks @LeicesterOfficial. Well done for signing these two, they will be such a great pairing and I for one can't wait for us to storm the league.

Pre-Season review

Leicester 3-2 Slask

[/color]Wood 50' Hopper 64' Schlupp 80' / Bajorek 60' Zawaski 83'

Leicester got off to a great start in their pre-season beating Slask 3-2, maybe not as solid in the defence as we'd like but still, a great win to boost, Morale, Fitness and our confidence.

Macclesfield 1-3 Leicester

Whitaker 42' / Wood 25' Martin OG 35' Fletcher 49'

Again, a very good performance, we were great in attack although im not happy with the goal we conceded and we need to look on improving our defence when in the lead! it's just complacency.

Leicester 1-3 Newcastle

Danns 5' / Gutierrez 25' Collocini 48' Shola Ameobi 90+2

Another match where we were in the lead and our defence goes to shambles. we were very good in terms of possesion and passing however our defence yet again let us down. Im not to upset as its only a freindly and Newcastle are a side that 'should' be beating us.

Davids thoughts

A decent start to my managerial career at Leicester, two great wins against Slask and Macclesfield but a dissapointing loss at home to Newcastle. our goal scoring and attaking was great and hopefully its a sign of things to come, but our defence will need to improve when we head into our league games.
Some nice pre=season results there mate :) Keep going I will be following this story
cheersmate, you pratically got me to 200 views:P
