The brother has just got a new laptop so we decided we want to play a network game together. Problem is, is that I'm not 100% sure how to start one.
If this has been covered feel free to delete this thread and point me in the right direction.

hmm i dont really know, have u guys played online with fm 08?
if u have done that then try to do the same thign with fm 09.
Because i havent tried playing online and at the moment not finding time to play fm 09 too much at all. and i would want to start an online game as well.
But do you both have steam? if you do then try to connect via steam maybe, i dont really know how it works.
its very simple.one of you must make the server.thats easy,even a 3rd grader can make it.main menu->network->choose database->new game->and from now on it starts like a normal game.
for the other one to join he need to enter network from the main menu->join other server(lower left corner)->type the servers IP.
and now you are ready to play an online game

what about hamachi if you have 2 ips???

you are asking to much from me right now.its been a long time since i used hamachi to play an online game.maybe tmrw i'll post the hamachi guide...if i can remember.

you have already done a network guide for 08 copy that and edit it and make a new one for newbies PS:i know how to use hamachi for games i was just say for the others :wink
