Everton Football Club have competed in the top division for a record 110 seasons and have won the League Championship nine times, maybe its time again for the club to enjoy some success again? I will attempt to qualify for the Europa League, and eventually get my Everton team into a Champions League place.

Everton have fantastic starting foundations for me to build on. They have several players from the UK & Ireland in the side such as Baines, Jagielka, Coleman, Osman, Gibson, Naismith and young talent such as Barkley, McCarthy and the great prospect of McAleny. A British side is something i would like to build on, all the way from youth level to first team, obviously i will still have some foreign players in the side, but i would like the majority the be British where that is possible.

I will be upgrading my training and academy facilities as much as i possibly can in order to get better prospects through my own academy instead of having to buy elsewhere.

I hope to play an attacking possession style of play, but also be dangerous from set plays.

After only a few days in charge Chairman Bill Kenwright issued a statement regarding newly employed manager Roberto Martinez, he admits he made the wrong choice for the future of English football. After recent conversations with Greg Dyke he was convinced to employ an English Head Coach that had the ambition to bring new British talent through the ranks at Everton. Bill Kenwright agreed he would search for such a manager but also implied that a full British squad may cause a disadvantage for the club and cause them to lose their club statue and decline down the league table. The Everton Chairman admitted a full British squad could be possible in the future and that he will invest in the training and youth facilities to make sure the new generation of British players the club brings through the ranks will be exciting prospects.

If the system works the future could be very promising for British football, but more importantly provide a golden generation of players for the national sides.

More episodes on the way! Please follow my story and see how i get on in my next episode which will include the going ons in the transfer window and my pre season campaign.
Good luck :)
