Lee Clark Sacked!

The Birmingham board have finally lost patience with the former Huddersfield manager, as he has failed to achieve the board expectations. He has failed to secure a play-off spot and performed poorly in the league in his time as manager. Carson Yeung says he is looking for a talented manager who can drive the club to the Premier League and lead them to fame.

Clark finished 12th in the nPower Championship 2012/13 season, he has struggled to find any consistency in his results and pundits believe the board have made the right decision.

Veteran manager Neil Warnock has been heavily linked with the job as he has expressed his wish to come out of retirement following a spell with Leeds. Other front-runners for the job are Alan Curbishley and Martin O'Neil.
Nice start to the story, I will be following :P

Terry Connor Unveiled as Blues Boss

Birmingham City have today announced Terry Connor as their new manager, he has terminated his contract at Ipswich as assistant manager. Connor is infamous for his spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers when the club were relegated from the Premier League. He gave many comedic interviews to the press in his time, he is well known for his famous quote “Just call me TC”.

Fans of the club are concerned about the arrival of TC, because he hasn’t got a very good track record as a manager. Terry was chatting to the Sky Reporters today, he said:

“Well I was getting a bit fed up with Mick moaning all the time, and we had a heated argument where I told him he should just shave all of his hair off. He looks quite silly with that tuft of receding hair.

I’m glad to be joining a big club like Birmingham, TC is here to win!”

Members of the BCFC fan club have said they are shocked but they want to fans to get behind the new boss, and give him a chance to prove himself. Terry is looking to bring an attacking brand of football to the club and get some big wins.
Our names are similar, and I'm from Leeds, I think I could like you ;) Good luck bud :)

TC To The Top!

Terry's First Journal Entry
I woke up today with a banging headache and my worst hangover in years. I went out last night with my new players and things got a bit... out of hand. I am a bit of a party animal and once I've had a few beers I move onto the shots. A few of the lads got a bit carried away and they are gonna struggle in fitness training.

I am taking this club back to the Prem, I'll shut up those dirty Wolves fans who called me a joke, they trashed their own stadium! I got Terry's Tactic book out of the cupboard today and had a little look at it, I am going for a 451 this season. I managed to nick some of Micks tactics before I left and I got a few of his secret tricks.

Here is a little picture of my super tactic, we will be the new Barcelona in no time. Who needs Messi when we've got Lee Novak?

After sorting the tactics out I headed up the training ground and made a cup of tea, I watched my players run 20 laps of the pitch. Zigic was plodding along and he was sick a couple of times, I don't know if hes worth his 60K a week wages...

Once they finished fitness work, I gave the lads a bit of a talk about the 451 system and how I want them to play. I got a few nods and some of the lads said the tactic looks solid. I told them I don't want any of that hoof-ball business, we're going to be a passing team!

My main men this season will be Chris Burke and Dan Burn, the club are in debt so I'm gonna ship out some of the deadwood and bring in some talent. I can't be bothered with those pre-season friendlies so I fancy going on holiday and letting my assistant take care of them. I might book a villa in Spain and text the board to suggest some transfers.

All in all it was a good first day at work, I'm looking forward to the season ahead!
KRO man get the promotion!!

    Transfer Time…

    Terry's Transfer Talk

    http://www.travco.co.uk/images/hotels/Y2Q/Y2Q_FRONT.jpg
I spent a beautiful week out in Spain; I booked a 5 star hotel and got myself room service. Before I left I gave my assistant Terry McDermott (Terry No2) a list of transfer targets to try and sign. I spent most of the week relaxing in the hotel, they had a pool and free food served all day. There was a beautiful maid there but she wouldn’t give me her number, she said I’m a bit too old for her…

I got a lovely massage in the spa on Thursday, and spent Friday watching some TV. They had WiFi at the hotel so I posted some funny stuff on the Ipswich fan forum and had a bit of banter.
On Friday night I got a call saying three transfers had been finalized, I knew I could trust Mr McDermott!

The club have managed to sign three new players:

Papa Bouba Diop - FREE TRANSFER (The Legend)

    Keith Treacy - £240K

    Aaron Martin - £95K

I needed a back-up centre back and a good replacement winger, Aaron is 23 and Keithy is 24 so they are definitely ones for the future!

Papa is one of the best players of all time, pure strength and power in the centre of midfield. The team are missing a holding midfield player and Papa will do the job. He only wants £1K a week so I can’t complain about that!

Carson Yeung says that’s my transfer budget spent, I had a long phone-call and tried to persuade him but he said I’m not allowed any more money till I sell Zigic, I tried to use the TC charm :(

    Tough Start

    Terry in Trouble
I told my assistant to take the team to the friendlies and text me the final score, whilst I relaxed at home and enjoyed the rest of the short English summer. I did a bit of gardening and mowed the lawn, and drank a lot of beer to reward myself for the hard work.

The team were a bit disappointing in the pre-season friendlies, I reckon they were just being a bit lazy they lost three matches and won two against weaker opposition. I gave them all a telling off at training and told them to sort themselves out before the first match of the season.

New boy Keith Treacy impressed me with his effort in training, so he was selected to start the first match. I picked a strong starting eleven for the match against promotion candidates Watford.

In the end we lost 3-2. Keith Treacy gave us the perfect start by scoring on his debut in the first minute, it was a hard match from then on and they made a comeback. They are a good team but they would be nowhere without all them random Italian players. I locked the team in the dressing room afterwards and gave them my wrath. Kyle Bartley was terrible and cost us goals, so I made him wash everyone else’s boots as a punishment. I won’t stand for any nonsense, TC rules with an iron fist!

Terry's Man of the Match: Lee Novak

I met up with Mr Zola after the match and we went out for a few drinks, he took me to some fancy Italian restaurant and I got one of them Pepporoni pizzas. He told me he has started playing 5 at the back and he gave me some tactic ideas, I think he was trying to trick me so I didn’t take any notice.

I have a Capital One Cup match against Coventry next then a few more league games; hopefully we can improve and get some points on that table. If I get sacked though I could retire early with all that compensation money, so I’ll keep that in mind!
Should've taken in charge of the friendlies, to see how the team performed, and if your tactics work.. Hopefully you'll have a good season :)

Terry likes his time off :) The tactic is looking pretty good but I might need to change the defence system, because conceding three goals isn't great.
