Last year was a year to forget for Villa fans as they finished 15th after a season of ups and downs but it was also filled with much promise as Paul Lambert joined semi late in the season to guide Aston Villa out of relegation and into 15th with the youngest squad of league.

Interview with spokesperson and Aston Villa hall of famer Brian Little

I = interviewer
B = Brian
I: Thank you for being here with today Brian
B: Not a problem
I: Lets start this interview with main questions on
every ones mind at the minute which of course is why did you sack Lambert and who are you looking at bringing in to replace him?
B: Well I think the main reason in his sacking was his refusal to sign a new contract and also refusing to decline some higher paid management jobs
I: Did the club try to reach a agreement with him before sacking him?
B: Yes the club tried on quite a few occasions but he would not sign a contract stating that he was leaving
His opinions open for a bigger and better club then we are. We also offered him mutual termination of his contract in which he also refused.
I: Well if what you said is true then I do understand why you would sack him but lets get off that topic and go on to the next one which of course is the replacements for him. The bookmaker seem to suggest the mangers with the most chance of getting the job are Owen Coyle or Harry Redknapp
B: Both of those mangers are great and I really admire them but up to now nothing has been finalised.
I: Well that’s all the questions we have time for today Thank you for your time Billy.
B: No problem thank you for having me.

Well that’s all we have time for today make to sure to keep watching www.avfc.co.uk/ for all the latest updates

Whoops forgot to say thank you to you so thanks for the good luck and you have to love barry :)

As the wait goes on for the Aston villa manger to be confirmed www.avfc.co.uk/ we will be doing a season preview

Arsenal
Position in 2012-2013 - 4th
Manager - Arsène Wenger
Key player - Mesut Özil
Season preview - A very successful club which have sadly not won a trophy since 2005s Arsène Wenger and fans alike will be hoping this year they will break the 8 year duct after some great signings in the summer.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 3rd although they have made some fantastic signings we don’t think they will be able to challenge for the title. although anything is possible and with a great manager like Arsène Wenger you can never count them out

Aston Villa
Position in 2012/13 - 15th
Manager - n/a
Key Player - Fabian Delph
Season Preview - After a up and down last season Villa fans would be forgiven for thinking the ship would have been steadied with the appointment
Of Paul Lambert but with the recent sacking of there manger Villa fans will be wondering what awaits them.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 17th This is hard team to predict without a manger at the moment but no matter I still feel they will escape relagation and who knows with the right manager I can see them getting a midtable finish.

Cardiff city
Position in 2012/13 - 1st in championship
Manager - Malky Mackay
Key Player - Mark Hudson
Season Preview - After getting promoted
And winning the championship last year Cardiff fans will be hoping they can stay clear of the drop zone and get some stability for the foreseeable future
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 18th despite having a squad capable of avoiding the drop we think that they will very narrowly go down although who knows with the right signings and a bit of look anything is possible. Also with recent sacking of the Aston villa manger who we predicted would get 17th Cardiff may be able to survive the drop after all depending on the manger Aston Villa gets.

Chelsea
Position in 2012/13 - 3rd
Manager - José Mourinho
Key Player - Eden Hazard
Season Preview - Over the last few seasons Chelsea have changed there managers a lot with 5 changes in
4 years so fans will be hoping there new/old manger
José Mourinho who has made his return to Stamford bridge will be able to guide them to glory once again
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 2nd Chelsea have a fantastic and we think they will either be 2nd or 1st at the end of season we decided to put second because of the Competition this year and with there new manger José Mourinho it might take them a year to get settled but no matter what happens by the end of the season we think they will be in the title race.

Crystal Palace
Position in 2012/13 - 5th in championship
Manager - Ian Holloway
Key Player - Mile Jedinak
Season Preview - With there manager Ian Holloway
Guiding the club from the championship to premier league via the play offs fans will be hoping they can survive the drop
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 20th unfortunately for
Crystal Palace fans their squad is arguably the weakest in the league and it will be a real uphill battle for Ian Holloway to keep them in the league

Everton
Position in 2012/13 - 6th
Manager - Roberto Martínez
Key player - Leighton Baines
Season Preview - Everton may have suffered a great loss with the departure of David Moyes to Manchester United but he has been replaced by a very capable manager in Roberto Martínez.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 6th Despite making some great signings including loaning the hot prospect Romelu Lukaku we think with the departure of Moyes that it may take a while before they can start challenging for a top 4 but despite are prediction we think Everton will be team to look out for this season.

Fulham
Position in 2012/13 - 12th
Manager - Martin Jol
Key player - Maarten Stekelenburg
Season Preview - After having a decent 2012/13 season Fulham will be hoping to expand on it and hopefully try to get back into Europe with there with proven goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg coming into the club as well as goal scoring threats in Darren bent and Dimitar Berbatov.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 10th we think there will be some slight improvements this season but like with Everton we think this will be more of gradual improvement and then next season we will see a leap for a spot in Europe .
What does every one think of my new updates are they ok? What can I improve. Also new update out later

Season Preview Part 2: Hull to Manchester City

Hull City
Position in 2012/13 - 2nd in Championship
Manager - Steve Bruce
Key Player - Ahmed Elmohamady
Season Preview - After getting promoted last year this is Hulls First time in the premier league since getting relegated in the 2009/10.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 19th Despite the hull side not being especially weak this season with all the competition to stay up this year we just can’t see them surviving in the league.

Liverpool
Position in 2012/13 - 7th
Manager - Brendan Rodgers
Key player - Luis Suarez
Season Preview - Liverpool the giants of England are a team who have gone 23 years without a league title but despite that have had a lot of success in this century and new manager Brendan Rodgers will want to continue to Improve after his debut season last year he also signed two fantastic player in January as well at a multitude of signings this season already.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 4th Could this be the season Liverpool reclaim there top 4 spot. We think so with his latest signings who are already looking fantastic and with a great squad already including Legend Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez we think Liverpool have great chance of getting a top 4.

Manchester City
Position in 2012/13 - 2nd
Manager - Manuel Pellegrini
Key player - Sergio Agüero
Season Preview - With the sacking of Roberto Mancini and replacing him Manuel Pellegrini it clearly shows that Manchester city don’t mess about
When it comes down to winning the league. With quite a lot of signings coming in this season fans will be expecting good run in the league.
www.avfc.co.uk/ prediction - 1st In our minds there are 2 possible winner of the league this year Chelsea and Man city with a outside chance of Arsenal winning but the main reason we think those 2 teams have the best chance of winning the league this year is because as well as having fantastic managers they also have arguably the best squads in the league but we recon Man city will pip Chelsea to the title.
